Game 1: Calcium Cannons vs. Dingers
Dingers open the game by batting around and scoring 10. Mike Casbar and Bayley Jaminis both homer (Casbar twice in the inning), Nick Bontempo triples, and Connor O'Keefe and Rich Schmidt both double. Calcium Cannon answer back with 4 in the bottom. Jason White doubles along with Jaden Newman, and Ben Hagen and Drew Finney both homer. Dingers add a run in the 2nd while Cannons bat around and score 12 in the bottom of the 2nd. Newman doubles along with non-roster sub Scott Gerhart, and White homers. Dingers add 3 in the 3rd on Bontempo's 2nd triple and Jaminis' 2nd homer of the night. Cannons add 2 in the bottom. In the 4th, Dingers bat around and score 6. Bontempo gets his 3rd triple and Dave Iotarola doubles. In the bottom of the 4th, Cannons add 4 with Ian Cuozzo and Drew Finney both homering and Newman tripling. Dingers get 5 in the 5th to take a 25-22 lead. Jamins bangs out his 3rd homer. Cannons make it a 1 run game in the bottom with 2 runs off Dombrowski's double and Gerhart's triple. They'll take the lead in the bottom of the 6th with 3 runs from Ian Cuozzo's 3 RBI homer. Dingers recapture the lead in the top of the 7th by batting around and scoring 9 to make it a 34-27 game going into the bottom of the 7th. Bontempo blasts out his 4th triple and Jaminis jacks his 4th homer. In the bottom of the 7th, Calcium Cannons threaten with the 1st 2 batters and score 2 on Newman's homer, but after a Damon Page double, they run out of gas. Dingers win this slugfest, 34-29.
Game2: Wire2Wire Sports Podcast vs To Be Determined
TBD get 4 in the 1st 3 innings. Jimmy Weigers doubles and Collin Sheehan homers. Wire2Wire blast out 14 in the same. Brandon Bozek doubles, Alex Freeman homers, Bill Walker doubles, and Jim Chapman doubles. In the 4th and 5th, TBD get 4 more. Tommy Conner triples and Collin Sheehan homers. Wire2Wire get 2 more in the 4th and 5th. Tim Frei doubles. Wire2Wire adds 5 more in the 6th. In the top of the 7th, TBD needs 13 to force a bottom of the 7th. They get the 1st 3 on base, with Sheehan doubling and score them all. Mike Kilkenny doubles and 3 more runs score, but the comeback falls short. Wire2Wire wins, 21-14.
Game 3: Philly Junk vs Beers
Beers get a 1st inning 2-run homer from Connor MacFarlane after Ryan Maley's leadoff triple. They'll add 4 more in the 2nd before Philly Junk gets on the board. Jose Sanchez doubles. In the bottom of the 2nd, Mike Bitterlich doubles and scores. Beers get a dinger from Josh Goldberg in the 3rd and score 2. Philly Junk bats around in the bottom and scores 15. Pat Kelley doubles and homers. Shane Hanna homers twice. Tom Koezler doubles. Brandon Birkhead triples and homers. Bitterlich triples. Beers answer back with 5 in the top of the 4th. Scott Runzer homers and MacFarlane doubles. In the bottom, Philly Junk goes back to work and bats around again, scoring 7. Hanna homers again, Koezler homers, Birky homers again, and Cody Runner triples. Beers go down in order in the top of the 5th, and Philly Junk closes this game out with 5 in the bottom. Kelley, Hanna, and Tom Ivers all double, and Koezler homers again. Philly Junk wins, 29-13.
Game 4: Kings Corner vs Shak-N-Bake
Shake-N-Bake blast out 6 runs while batting around in the top of the 1st. Sean Scott leads off with a double. Neal Bellucci doubles, Joe Talarico triples. Kings Corner gets 3 in the bottom off of triples from John Erb and Chris Beatty, and a homer from Justin Miller. They'll add 7 more in the 2nd while batting around. Chris Lansberry doubles, Erb doubles, Beatty homers, Keith Crowell triples, Jay Pane doubles, and Chris Abato homers. Shake-N-Bake gets 1 in the top of the 3rd while Kings Corner bats around in the bottom. Miller and Beatty both triple and both Pane and CJ Snyder double. Shake-N-Bake get 4 in the top of the 4th with Scott Minto tripling. Kings Corner puts this game away in the bottom of the 4th by batting around and scoring 14. Pane homers and the rest is done on singles. Kings Corner wins, 31-11.
