Game 1: Dirt Dogs vs. Phanatics

DD plates four runs in the top of the first on doubles by Scott Churma and Derek Strowhouer, and a Tess Frelick solo homer. The Phanatics answer with eight runs in the bottom of the first on a two run triple by Sean O’Connor, and a Scott Gerhart two run homer. DD bats around in the top of the second to put up four runs on singles. Tess Frelick smokes a two run double for DD in the top of the third. Four runs cross the plate for DD in the top of the fifth on a Dennis D’Angelo RBI triple, and homers by Joey Pittman and Derek Strohwouer. The Phanatics push six runs across in the bottom of the sixth on double by Scott Gerhart and Ian Cuozzo, and a Sean O’Connor bases loaded triple. The Dirt Dogs get by the Phanatics, 17-15.

Game 2: Instigators vs. Dirt Dogs

Singles get the Instigators three runs in the top of the first. Joey Pittmann smashes a three run homer for DD in the bottom of the first. The Instigators score eight runs in the top of the second on doubles by Chris Abato, Jenny Minnick, and Jay Murphy, and an Austin Grosso two run homer. Tess Frelick and Joey Pittmann jack homes for DD in the bottom of the second. DD bats around in the bottom of the third to score seven runs on walks, and doubles by Dennis D and Derek S. Chris Abato smokes a two run double for the Instigators in the top of the fourth. DD plates nine runs in the bottom of the fourth with triples by Matt A and Tess Frelick, and a Dennis D three run homer. The Dirt Dogs out slug the Instigators, 24-16.

Game 3: Ump Yours vs. Mad Batters

Back to back doubles by Christian Butrica and Nic Pataki net UY three runs in the top of the first. MD gets on the board in the bottom of the second with a run. Back to back RBI triples by Christian Butrica and Nic Pataki get UY two runs in the top of the third. Singles and an RBI double by Anibal Negron lead to three runs for MB in the bottom of the third. Bob Louderback rips an RBI double for UY in the top of the fourth. MB adds a run in the bottom of the fifth. Anthony Rubas blasts a solo homer for UY in the top of the sixth. UY scores two runs in the top of the seventh thanks to RBI doubles by Sam Ali and Kevin Goyette. Ump Yours doubles up on the Mad Batters, 10-5.

IHT nets two runs on singles in the top of the first. IHT gets four runs in the top of the fourth on singles, and a Bill Hare double. Chip Taylor rips an RBI double for IHT in the top of the fifth. PB finally gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the seventh. I’d Hit That beats the Pinball Nerds, 7-1.

Game 1: JT Bankers vs. GFP

JT takes the early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Bill Branacato rips a two run triple for GFP in the bottom of the first. Alex Freeman, Kyle Rizzi, and Sean Nonemacher blast back to back to back homers for GFP in the bottom of the second. Greg Hess smokes an RBI double for JT in the top of the third. Dan Croak jacks a three run homer for JT in the top of the fifth. GFP bats around in the bottom of the fifth to score nine runs with doubles by Alex Freeman, Kyle Rizzi, and Jared Taylor, and a Carmen Brancato triple. GFP adds three runs in the bottom of the sixth on doubles by Alex Freeman and Lissa Tercha. JT rallies for three runs on singles in the top of the seventh. GFP takes down JT Bankers, 21-12.

Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Alaskan Bullworms

Wayne Horger, Jr blasts a three run homer for HH in the top of the first. AB gets on the board in the bottom of the first with a run. HH bats around in the top of the second to plate seven runs on a Chase Luxton triple, and a three run homer by Jon Poore. HH bats around again in the top of the third to plate THIRTEEN runs on singles, and a Casey Condron grand slam. AB bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score five runs on singles, and a Calvin Starosta double. Jay Pane jacks a solo homer for HH in the top of the fifth. Phil Krieg rips an RBI triple for AB in the bottom of the fifth. Hagan’s Heroes beats up on the Alaskan Bullworms, 28-11.

Game 3: Aces of Bases vs. One Day At A Time

AOB takes the lead with four runs in the top of the first on singles. AOB adds three runs in the top of the third. ODAAT gets on the board in the bottom of the fifth as Jim Liott launches a two run homer. AOB puts up four runs in the top of the sixth with a triple by Chase Hensman, and a Ryan Hensman solo homer. Mike Oakes smashes a solo homer for AOB in the top of the seventh. ODAAT rallies for two runs in the seventh with a two run homer by Tim Frei. Aces of Bases beats One Day At A Time, 14-4.
