Game #1 – Bat Intentions vs. Dirty Balls

Here we go as we will get rolling in the first game of the night. Anthony Rapposelli and Justin Ruth will both hit RBI singles and Ryan Marcino will bring in a run on a sac fly as they open up a 3-0 lead. Dirty Balls will get shut down in the first inning, but will explode in the second batting around and scoring a total of eight runs. Andrea Ramonno started the scoring with an RBI single, followed by a Tommy Gallo RBI walk and then a two run double from Dennis D’Angelo. Jaiden Hurrey and Nick Pigott will both add sac flies before Tim Frei shows them up with a solo homer. Intentions will grab a run in the fourth, but slow down until the fifth and sixth when they add five runs. Anthony Rapposelli and Tom Finn will bring in runs on singles in the fifth and Jimmy Costar and Andrew Rutter with RBI singles in the sixth. Dirty Balls will add some late runs on a Nick Pigott two run single and Tim Gluck RBI single. Dirty Balls will cruise and win this one 18-10.

Player of the Game:
Tim Frei (Dirty Balls) – 2/3, HR, 3 RBI’s

Game #2 – Muckdogs vs. Sillies

Brett Anker will start the scoring with a classic RBI single backside to get the game rolling. Bill Hamilton and a couple errors will net them three more runs as they lead 4-0. They will take that lead into the second when they explode for ten runs. Anker is back at it again with two more RBI’s, while Evan Grymkowski will clear the bases with a triple. Dave Mascnke also added two runs on a single to make this a 14-1 game. Justin Glennen has the only RBI for Sillies with a solo bomb. Muckdogs had a down inning before they came in with a big fourth inning getting six more runs. Doug Peikin had a two run double, Gymkowski had an RBI double and Hamilton added one more on an RBI single. Sillies just don’t have enough tonight to stay with Muckdogs and will fall in this one. Muckdogs win 20-3.

Player of the Game:
Evan Grymkowski (Muckdogs) – 4/4, 2B, 2 3B’s, 4 RBI’s

Game #3 – Phanatics vs. Carroll’s

Scott Gerhart starts this game off with an RBI double given them the lead. Carroll’s will tie the game in the second on a Kelly Gallagher RBI single as we sit at 1-1 after two innings of play. Phanatics will get five in the third, in big part thanks to a Mike Ercolino grand salami. Carrolls will get two of them back on an RBI single from Bill Shipe and sac fly from Kelly Gallagher. Phanatics will make this a 7-3 game after Nic Pataki smashed a solo bomb. Carrolls will fight back in the fifth getting three back on a Brian Sauers bomb. Phanatics will hold a one run lead into the seventh, but Carroll’s is up for the challenge. Greg Lesher will tie the game up with an RBI single setting up Brian Sauers to play hero in this one and walk it off. Carroll’s will win this game 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh.
