Game 1: Bird Gang vs. Philly Junk

Jon Poore and Pat McKay jack back to back homers for BG in the top of the first. PJ answers with six runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a two run triple by Bill Brancato, and a Brandon Birkhead two run homer. BG bats around in the top of the second to plate ELEVEN runs with homers by Jason McLaughlin, Jon Poore, and Pat McKay. BG scores five runs in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Jason McLaughlin and Mark Rothenberger, and homers by Jason McLaughlin and Jon Poore. Brandon Birkhead jacks another homer for PJ in the bottom of the second. PJ bats around again in the bottom of the fourth to push seven runs across on singles, a two run double by Ty Gower, and homers by Brandon Birkhead and Casey Clauss. BG puts up three runs in the top of the sixth with back to back RBI doubles by Jon Poore and Pat McKay, and a Jason McLaughlin solo homer. PJ adds a run in the bottom of the sixth. Bird Gang out slugs Philly Junk, 25-18.

Game 2: Silverbacks vs. Ball Busters

The Silverbacks start off red hot with FIFTEEN runs in the top of the first on singles, doubles by Rob McKenna, Scott Castner, Ed O’Neill, and Chris Haagen, a Ben Haagen two run triple. BB answers with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to back to back doubles by Brendan Parker and Andrew Parker. Carlos Gonzalez smokes a three run triple for the Silverbacks in the top of the second. BB bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score six runs on singles, and a Tony Munoz two run triple. BB rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. The Silverbacks take care of the Ball Busters, 22-16.

Game 3: Vertex vs. Wire 2 Wire

Alex Freeman rips an RBI triple for Vertex in the top of the first. W2W answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Alex Freeman jacks a solo homer for Vertex in the top of the third. Vertex adds a run in the top of the fifth. Tom Signore blasts a three run in the bottom of the sixth. Jamie Burkhard gets the game winning RBI double for W2W in the bottom of the seventh. Wire 2 Wire walks it off over Vertex, 6-5.

Game 4: Vertex vs. The Ones

Mike Oakes rips a two run double for TO in the bottom of the first. Errors and a two run double for Vertex leads to three runs for Vertex in the top of the second. TO bats around in the bottom of the third to score THIRTEEN runs with walks, doubles by Ryan Hensman, Jarrett Kerns, and CJ Steiner, and a CJ Steiner three run homer. Sean Nonemacher jacks a two run homer for Vertex in the top of the fourth. Vertex bats around in the top of the seventh to pick up nine runs on singles. The Ones squeak by Vertex, 17-15.
