Game 1: Philly Junk vs. Lady Birds

Joey Pittman launches a two run homer for LB in the bottom of the first. PJ bats around in the top of the second to plate eight runs on singles, a Brandon Birkhead homer, and a grand slam by Jarrett Kerns. LB bats around in the bottom of the third to pick up ELEVEN runs thanks to singles, and doubles by Jason McLaughlin, Joey Pittman, and Dan Vescovi. Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for PJ in the top of the fourth. PJ scores six runs in the top of the fifth with homers by Jarrett Kerns and Brandon Birkhead. LB adds two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Brandon Birkhead and Anthony Crawford jack back to back homers for PJ in the top of the sixth. A leadoff triple by Ryan Kerns helps net PJ three runs in the top of the seventh. James McLaughlin rips a solo homer for LB in the bottom of the seventh. Philly Junk takes the first game, 26-16.

Game 2: Lady Birds vs. Philly Junk

A leadoff double by Jason McLaughlin helps LB score two runs in the top of the first. PJ answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. A triple by Joey Pittman leads to a run for LB in the top of the third. Four runs cross the plate for PJ in the bottom of the third with doubles by Jarrett Kerns, Anthony Crawford, and Tom Rider, and a Brandon Birkhead two run homer. Singles help LB put up three runs in the top of the fourth. PJ pushes four runs across in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles, and doubles by Jarrett Kerns and Anthony Crawford. James McLaughlin and Joey Pittman smokes back to back two run doubles for LB in the top of the sixth. PJ uses singles to score three more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Philly Junk squeaks out the second game, 13-11, and captures the Friday A championship.
