Boy, did I ever jinx the tournament. As soon as I bragged about the almost non-existent defections, we get slammed.

Bob Louderback (Team 7) can no longer attend the tournament (non-COVID illness). I'm working on a replacement from the alternate list and am waiting for the other managers to chime in on my proposal.

Alternates Matt McReynolds and Craig Richards will partake in a lottery to enter the tournament and replace Bob Louderback on Team 7. Both had sent in a 3-digit number with their registration forms to be used expressly for this purpose. Using the 3 digits picked for the PA Pick 3 lottery from the evening edition and comparing that to each alternate's 3-digit number, the replacement player will be established. The player with the 3-digit number that is closest to the PA Pick 3 number (plus/minus) will be placed on Team #7. 000 will follow 999.

Jay Muir (Team 2) has regretfully decided to abstain from today's activities. Even though he tested negative, he is experiencing COVID-like symptoms and doesn't want to place anyone else at risk. Hopefully, alternate Craig Richards will be available to take Jay's place on Team 2.

It wasn't supposed to be, but there is rain in the forecast for this afternoon. Per league 1-pitch protocol, should rain take the balance of the tournament from us, the team/s with the best record at the time of the cancellation shall be declared the winner/s.
