Game 1: TGIF vs Basic Pitches

Basic Pitches started the game in promising fashion, scoring 3 runs in the 1st to earn themselves a 2-run lead. That was the last the saw of it though has they would only scrape across 4 more the rest of the way. THey just couldn't get the bats going and were limited to singles and walks. TGIF had much better success. Run Pulli's 3-run triple in the 2nd put TGIF up for good but that wasn't enough for Ron. He came back in the 3rd with a 2-run double that was sure to seal the deal. Jay Payne's 2-run homer in the 5th was part of a 5-run inning for TGIF as they kept piling on. 6 more runs in the 6th was enough to give them the mercy rule win. TGIF takes it by a score of 22-7.

Game 2: Titans vs Basic Pitches

This game started out as more of the same for those Pitches. They were subject to a 14-run 1st inning at the hands of the Titans, where 7 different players recorded multiple hits in the inning. Basic Pitches wouldn't stay quiet though, as they hung a 4 spot in the 1st and then added 7 runs in the 3rd. Dan V. recorded 2 extra-base hits in the inning. The scoring stopped for Basic Pitches though but the Titans continued to fill the score sheet. The Titans added to their 4-run lead with 4 more runs in the 4th, 5 in the 5th and another 4 in the 6th. A ton of extra-base hits were had but what was most notable during the offensive onslaught was the 6 for 6 performance by Kyle Rizzi. The Titans take this one 28-11.

Game 3: Trash Talkers vs Throwdown

The Trash Talkers chirped early but not much after the 1st. They scored 4 in the 1st but would only add 1 more the rest of the way which was via the long ball by Anthony Casselli. Throwdown scored 3 in the 1st (2-run dinger by Tom Koelzer), 2 in the 2nd, 13 in the 3rd (Jon Poore 2-run bomb) and 4 in the 4th (Axel Alecia 3-run double). Those 22 runs were enough to end this one early as Throwdown takes this one by a score of 22-5.

Game 4: Throwdown vs Trefz Mechanical

Throwdown refused to put in a full game's work on this night. They held Trefz to 3 runs in this one. Needless to say that wouldn't be enough for Trefz to be competitive. Throwdown scored 4 runs in the 1st and that was enough. They did add another run in the second, 4 more across the 3rd and 4th and then exploded for 7 in the 5th. They'd add another 2 runs to get them to the 15-run mercy rule in the 6th. Alex Elmore doing a lot of the damage towards the end of the game with a couple of RBI doubles. Throwdown earns their second victory of the night, 18-3.
