Game 1: Throwdown vs Chico's

Both teams would score only 1 after the first 2 frames and both were by base runners that recorded a walk. Things picked up in the 3rd where Throwdown banged home 7 runs which included doubles by Bryan Peterman and Jon Poore. Chico's got 6 of their own in the frame with the help of a 2-run double by Chris Osmian. Axel Alecia's solo shot was part of a 2-run 4th for Throwdown which pushed their lead to 3. Throwdown then added another 2 in the 5th before Chico's added 4 of their own. The teams continued to trade blows as Throwdown scored 2 in each of the final 2 innings. Chico's entered the bottom of the 7th needing 5 to tie but could only get 3. Throwdown takes it 16-14.

Game 2: Wackers vs TGIF

Wackers didn't have their normal swag in this one. They wouldn't score until the 4th and would only plate 6 for the entire game. TGIF scored 4 in the 1st (Adam Lightkep & Rob McKenna RBI triples), 3 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th and 5th (Greta Sheridan RBI triple) and 3 more in the 6th. Consistent scoring pays off as TGIF wins, 14-6.

Game 3: Basic Pitches vs Casey's

Basic Pitches had much more offensive success this week as they had 3 different 4-run innings. The issue was that most of the damage was done by the heart of the order and they only got to bat 3 times. Ryan Goodman and Dan Vescovi combined to go 6 for 6 with 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBI and 6 runs scored. Casey's was a little more fine-tuned. THey scored in each of the 5 innings that they stepped to the plate and every person on the team recorded at least one hit. John Maryott had two 2-run doubles while Nolan Havens, Joshua Graef and Christian Voger each went yard. Casey's runs away with this one, 21-12 in a game called due to time.

Game 4: Titans vs In Place Cabinet

I have a question for In Place Cabinets. Is it possible to replace the base cabinets while salvaging the existing granite counter top? Let me know!

Anyway, In Place had trouble getting the offense going as they scored 3 runs across the first 6 innings before doubling their score in the 7th. 6 runs wouldn't be enough on this night against a hot Titans team. The Titans brought 5 across in the 1st. They added 2 more runs in each of the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings before adding another 4 in the 6th. Kyle Rizzi with another big performance in this one as he went 5 for 5. He is 11 for 11 in his last 2 games. Titans roll, 15-6.
