Quarry Week 7 - 5/22/19

Game 1: In Place Cabinets vs Muckdogs

In Place jumped out to a 3-run lead in the top of the 1st but that quickly evaporated as the Muckdogs scored 3 of their own. The muckdogs kept the good times rolling as they scored 3 more in the 2nd and another 4 in the 3rd. In Place would grab 2 back in the 4th but the Muckdogs would double that effort with a 4 spot in the bottom of the frame. In Place wouldn't give up the fight as they kept trying to claw their way back and scored 7 runs across the 5th and 6th innings. Muckdogs did just enough to keep them at arms length by scoring in each inning. Muckdogs with a well earned victory, 18-13.

Game 2: Titans vs Buckingham Floor

This was a tale of 2 games. Buckingham won the first half by scoring 4 runs in the 1st (RBI doubles by Alex Freeman and Brett Millar), 1 in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd to pull out to a 7 run lead. Titans woke up in the 4th by driving in 5 runs which included RBI doubles by Mike Dura and Erin Bitner. They added another 4th with he help of a 2-run triple by Jason Brown. Buckingham would retake the lead in the bottom of the 5th with 4 runs, 2 of which were via a triple by Brett Millar. The TItans trimmed the deficit to 1 in the 6th and then took the win by scoring 4 in the 7th which featured a Mike Dura 2-run triple. Titans win, 14-11.

Game 3: TGIF vs Throwdown

TGIF scores 3 in the first with a couple of triples by Adam Lightkep and Rob McKenna. Throwdown scored 4 runs in the bottom of the frame which included a Wayne Horger Jr. 2-run double. Throwdown added another in the second to take a 2-run lead. TGIF was able to tie the game back up in the 3rd but Throwdown would retake the lead with a 5-run bottom half of the inning. Double by Bryan Peterman and Tom Montyvdas led the way. Throwdown pushed their lead to 7 with a 2-run 4th inning. TGIF got those 2 runs back in the 5th with the help of an RBI triple by N. Petrovic. Throwdown finished their scoring on the night by driving in 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th to take an 8 run lead. TGIF was able to cut the deficit in half in the 6th but went silent in the 7th, taking the L. Throwdown wins, 15-11.
