Game #1 – Buckingham Flooring vs. Chico’s

Buckingham Flooring starts out slow coming up empty in the top of the first. Chico’s get two runs across the plate in the bottom half. Buckingham Flooring tie it up with two runs of their own in the top of the second, while Chico’s come up empty in the bottom half. Buckingham Flooring extends their lead getting three runs in the top of the third with a two run shot by Alex Freeman and a solo shot by Brett Miller. Chico’s goes down in order in the bottom of the third as does Buckingham Flooring in the top of the fourth. Chico’s grabs one back with a solo shot by Bryan Bart in the bottom of the fourth. Buckingham Flooring comes up empty in the top of the fifth, while Chico’s takes the lead with four runs on a grand slam by Bryan Bart. Buckingham Flooring cuts the lead in half getting one in the top of the sixth on an RBI double by Ron Kulp. Chico’s goes down in order in the bottom of the sixth, but Buckingham Flooring does the same in the top of the seventh to fall short. Chico’s wins 7-6.

Game #2 – In Place vs. TGIF


In Place opens the game up with three runs in the top of the first with a three run shot by Brian Sauers. TGIF grabs two of their own in the bottom half with a two RBI triple by Mike Koszowski. Both teams go down in order in the second. In Place extends their lead getting five runs in the top of the third. TGIF roars back and takes the lead in the bottom of the third getting seven across the plate with a three run shot by Jason Pane and an RBI double by Mike Koszowski. Both teams come up empty in the fourth and In Place again in the top of the fifth. TGIF get six runs in the bottom of the fifth with a leadoff homerun by Jason Pane and a two RBI single by Mike Koszowski. In Place get two runs back in the top of the sixth. TGIF come up empty in the bottom of the sixth as well as In Place in the top of the seventh. TGIF wins 15-10.
