Game #1 – LA Pools vs. New Age

Pools grab two first inning runs off an RBI single from Mike Cianfichi and sac fly from Darcy Rabenda. New Age answer with two runs of their own with back to back RBI singles from Chris Plfaumer and Mark Maund. Pools get back to work in the third as a solo homer run from Greg Reilly gets them one run and a sac fly from Greg Lavin drives in another. New Age brings that deceit back to one after an RBI single from Matt Laird and RBI triple from Coty Thomas. Pools bat would head up as they push six runs across in the fourth started by an RBI single from Krissy Bartynski. Greg Reilly goes deep again in the inning, this time a big three run moonshot. Cianfichi also had a clutch two out two run double as they extend their lead to 11-4. Pools put this game away late as Lavin this time delivers the blow and blasts a three run bomb. Pools win 16-4.

They get two more runs back in the second off RBI hits from Samantha Stoops and Rich Reinheimer. Pools continue to play small ball and again grab one run off a RBI hit from Darcy Rabenda as they refuse to go away. Pools get another run in the fifth from a solo homer off Reilly’s bat which sets up a big seventh inning. Trailing by three, Pools step to the plate needing four runs to walk this one off.
