First Up!

MaGerks (A) vs E's Irish Pub (H)

MaGerks start the game off smoking the ball, after a line out they piece together 4 singles in a row and score 2 runs in the top of the 1st. E's respond with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half after Brad Might Millans blasts a 3B to score Anthony Snyder to tie the game up at 2 a piece after 1. The Captain Brian Hilbert singles and scores to start the 2nd but E's answers back in a mighty way with 8 straight players reaching base with singles with a walk sprinkled in for good measure than Jeremy Vilano smashes a Triple to cap off a 9 run inning! 11-3 E's headed into the 3rd. After a quiet 3rd for both teams Coach Brian Hilbert throws a tirade that Mike Ditka would be proud of to try to rally the troups. After a single and 2 quick outs the top of the order got things started for MaGerks as 3 singles and a walk plate 3 and then Jeff Tongue LASHES a ball in the gap for a triple to score two more making it an 11-8 game. E's was feeling the effects of MaGerks rally and they were set down quietly again. In the top of the 5th down 3 MaGerks went back to work a leadoff double by Brian Calabrase and a 1 out Triple for Will "The Thrill" Clark plated 2 runs to make it 11-10, Blaze singles in Clark and with the game tied in the 5th John found some GREEN deep over the outfielders head for a 2 run home run that would be the difference in this one as MaGerks completes the comeback over E's.

Hattricks (A) vs E's Irish Pub (H)

Hattricks picked up where MaGerks lead off to start the game with 4 runs in the first from singles and walks but the big blow was a bases clearing 2 out double by Michael Scott's brother John SCOTT to take a 4-0 lead. Coach VanFossen went nuts, he was seen throwing bats and a bench to wake his team up and boy did it work because E's responded with a hit parade that saw 6 score in the first and added 8 more in the second, the only extra base hit in the first two innings was Derek the Destroyer Myers who plated 2 with a huge double to give E's a 14 to 4 lead. Hattricks was quiet for the rest of the game only scoring two more while E's never let off the gas with ANOTHER 8 run inning in the 4th. Big hits by Jeremy Villano, Mark Kennedy and Joe Bernet with the biggest driving in 2 with a smashing triple.
