Game #1 – Hambino vs. Amber Inn

Hambino gets rolling with four runs quick after a Bradd Gower RBI double and two run single from Matt Schalck. Both teams go down without any runs in the third inning. Gower was back at it again for Hambino, this time a solo bomb. Amber Inn finally gets on the board in the third inning after a Kevin Noone RBI double, Bryon McMakin two run triple and Jeff Johnson RBI single. Hambinos respond with four more runs in the fourth lead by a RBI triple from Matt Good. Amber Inn end up exploding in the sixth inning for 12 runs taking the lead late. Kevin Noone continued to hit the ball well grabbing an RBI triple and three run triple in the inning. Leading 19-13, Hambino looks to have a big seventh inning, but won’t have enough steam left and will fall in this one. Amber Inn wins 19-13.

Game #2 – Mud Dogs vs. Palz Tap House

The second game gets started with a two run inning from Palz. The offense came from an Alex Freeman RBI double and Pete Herbert RBI single. Palz keep it rolling with a Casey Long RBI single and Tim Reinboth two run single. Alex Freeman also adds an RBI single in the inning. Mud Dogs finally get one across with a Kavit Solanski RBI single. Mud Dogs explode in the third smashing in nine runs and grabbing a one run lead. Josh Figueroa gets it started with a two run double and Kavig Solanski keeps it rolling with a two run bomb. Matt Greener also added two runs on a double of his own in the inning. Kavit and company keep it rolling in the fourth as he adds another RBI, his fourth of the game. Daulton Pickergill, Tony Figueroa, Greener and Jason Figeruoa all add RBI’s in the inning. Mud Dogs run away late in this one and will take this one. Mud Dogs win 19-11.

Game #3 – Philly’s Phinest vs. Mud Dogs


Mud Dogs gets rolling again early ripping our 12 runs out of the gate. Jason Figueroa, Tony Figueroa III, Tony Fugueroa Sr, Kavit Solanski and Jason Figueroa all drew RBI walks while Matt Figueroa and Charlie Hooker smashed a two run doubles. The Figueroa’s were back at it again in the second, all getting involved like the first. Tony Sr had a two run single, while Jason and Matt both had RBI doubles. Charlie Hooker also added two runs on a RBI single of his won. Mud Dogs bat’s seem to be on fire out of the gate. Philly Phinest didn’t want to go away as they did get seven runs in the second lead by home runs from Mike Rocks Sr and Valentino Mendez. Mendez was back at it in the fifth getting a two run single, but it really wasn’t enough as Mud Dogs cruise and take both games. Mud Dogs win 27-14.

Game #4 – Dirt Stars vs. Dirty Dozen

Dirty Dozen gets on the board first with a walk by Roc Akers who then scored on an error later in the inning. Dirt Starts get their first action I the second when Shawn Mackely drives in two runs on a single. Dozen comes right back with three more runs on a Connie Gerogiadis RBI single and some errors. Dirt Starts are not helping themselves defensively. Both teams go back and forth for a couple of innings until we are at 8-6 in favor of Wackers after 6 innings of play. Joe Tulino delievered a big two run double in the sixth for Dirt Stars. Dirt Stars tie the game in the seventh after a Tulino delievered again, this time an RBI double. Ross Anderson then stepped up in a big way for Dirty Dozen as he delievered a walk off RBI single and gives them the dub in style. Dirty Dozen wins 9-8.
