Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Philly Elite
HH takes an early lead with five runs on singles in the top of the first. HH bats around in the top of the second to plate nine runs thanks to triples by Bryan Peterman and Jason McLaughlin, and homers by Jay Muir and Gary Thompson. HH plates six runs in the top of the third with a two run triple by Gary Thompson, and a James McLaughlin two run homer. HH adds six more runs in the top of the fourth on walks and singles. PE leaves their bats at home. Hagan’s Heroes shuts out Philly Elite, 26-0.
Game 2: Orphans vs. Hit It Or Quit It
Kristina Sudell rips a two run double in the top of the first as the Orphans put up five runs. A Kevin Pannell double leads to a run for HIOQI in the bottom of the first. Brock Darden blasts a two run homer for the Orphans in the top of the third. A leadoff double by Brandon A nets the Orphans two runs in the top of the fourth. HIOQI answers with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Orphans add two insurance runs in the top of the sixth. HIOQI rallies for two runs in the bottom of the sixth with a double by Frankie Perrone. The Orphans top Hit It Or Quit It, 14-10.
Game 3: Hit It Or Quit It vs. Go Roostr
GR starts off red hot, plating SIXTEEN runs in the bottom of the first on a lot of singles, triples by Jeremy Villano and Dan Vescovi, and a Kevin Roche two run homer. HIOQI gets on the board with a run in the top of the second. GR bats around again in the bottom of the second to put up eight runs thanks to back to back homers by Kevin Roche(grand slam) and Pat Kelly(solo). Triples by Kevin P and Jeff G net HIOQI a run in the top of the third. Five runs come in for GR in the bottom of the third with Kevin Roche blasting his third homer of the game. Walks and singles lead to four runs for HIOQIf in the top of the fourth. Go Roostr destroys Hit It Or Quit It, 29-6.
Game 4: Who Cares vs. Scudz Sports
Billy Machette smokes a two run triple for WC in the top of the first. SS answers with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a two run homer by Axel Alicea. Back to back doubles by David Barth and John Lanio lead to three runs for WC in the top of the second. Errors and singles help SS plate four runs in the bottom of the fourth. WC adds two runs in the top of the fifth on singles. WC gets five runs in the top of the sixth on errors and singles. SS rallies for six runs in the bottom of the sixth thanks to back to back triples Jarrett Kerns and Bill Shallcross with Gene Walczak ripping the game winning single. Scudz Sports walks it off against Who Cares, 14-13.
