Game One: Beers v. Wire 2 Wire

Beers got going early with an rbi double from Scott Runzer and rbi singled from Ryan Henritzy and Josh Goldberg. PJ Acierno and Ryan Maley highlighted an 8-run 5th inning after PJ smashed a 2-run shot and Ryan Maley smashed a 2-run shot of his own. Josh later tripled home two more runs.
W2W playing short handed in this one, but offensively you wouldn’t know it. Bill Brancato went yard with a 3-run homer in the 2nd and though he was only subbing in this one…Jared Gardner went nuts at the plate. He had 3 hits, all three hits were 3-run homers. Jared drove in 9 and helped W2W take the game 25-18.


Game Two: Dingers v. HG Coal Fire Pizza

The Fire Guys were also playing shorthanded but their fate was different. Andrew Parker remained hot on the season with 4 more hits including 2 doubles and a triple. His 4th inning doubled cleared the bases. Matt Mossine was 4-5 from the lead off spot scoring twice and driving in 2 more.
Dingers fared better. Jake Zbarsky had a nice hit which included 3 hits. His 4th inning home run helped push 11 runs across. Connor O’Keefe had a 2-run single in the 4th and Brandon Walker drove in 2 with a 6th inning triple. Dingers easy victors 23-14.


Game Three: Mike’s Var & Grill v. Team Horsham

Corey Eyerman scored 3 times while Kyle Saba and Dave Demko each scored twice. Eric Rosemblum with a 2-run double in the 2nd inning helping Mike’s score 11 for the game.
Brett Saverio drove in 4, Eric Lane drove in 2, Dan Lineberger drove in 3, Mike Marnoch drove in 4 and Mike Crompton drove in 2 more as Horsham finally got some offense going and taking this game 26-11.


Game Four: Philly Junk v. Dookie Brewster

Tom Ivers with a 3-run homer in the 2nd, Brandon Burkhead with the first of his two homers in the game in the 4th (a 2-run shot) followed by a solo bomb in the 5th. Ryan Habel also with a solo shot in the 4th as Philly scored 15.
Tom Koelzer with the 2-run triple in the first inning, Ryan Goodman with aa 2-run shot in the 4th, Axel With a solo bomb also in the 4th and for good measure a 2-run double by Zach Martin. Bryan Peterman capped the 12-run frame with a 2-run triple. Tom Later homered again in the 5th and Axel with is 2nd of the game with a 6th inning 3-run blast. Dookie went to work on Philly with a 28-13 final.
