Game #1 – Bry-Lex vs. Pitches Be Trippin

Bry-Lex get rolling with a Shawn Pfleger RBI double followed by a two run single from Rich Jacalone. Pitches get that back and more pushing across five runs in the bottom of the inning. Jimmy Gallagher smacks a two run double while Ross Fuller and John Spross knock in a run on RBI singles. Chapman increase there to lead to four after a three run bomb from Conor Pierce. Chapman bats go cold though as they allow Bry-Lex to come back and take a lead in the fifth thanks to a Bryce Bundy RBI triple, Cody Miller RBI single and Carl Pateti two run bomb. Bundy gives Bry-Lex more of a cushion with a two run bomb in the seventh. Pateti also adds a two run bomb in the seventh as Bry-Lex will take this one. Bry-Lex win 16-8.

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Wackers

Wackers open up a big six run lead right out of the gate. Alex Freeman started the scoring with an RBI single followed by a three run bomb from Alex Amador. Don, Matt Bookheimer and Angie Georgiadis. Knuckleheads get three runs back on a three run bomb off the bat of Jesse Faller. Wackers quickly respond with three runs of their own on a Bookheimer RBI double and back to back RBI singles from Kyle Simonye and Eden Harvest. Knuckleheads start to get hot putting up six runs in the fifth. John Kiefer had a two run single and Ryan Goodman had the big blow with a grand slam into the woods. Wackers respond back with three runs thanks in big part to a Mike Koz RBI double as they respond well. Knuckleheads get a couple back in the seventh, but will still fall short in this one. Wackers win 17-14.

Game #3 – Roos vs. Rock N Rebel

Roos look to get off to a fast start and do scoring six runs right out of the gate. Jeremey Villano gets them started with a three run bomb which is then followed up with an Andrew Greeby RBI single. Chris Lansberry smacks another homer for Roos in the second as they increase their lead up to 9-0. Rock starts off slow in this one. Villano was back at it again, with another homer, his second one of the game. This one makes it a 13-1 game after three innings. Rock finally gets a big inning in the sixth, pushing across six runs. Bobby Citrino starts the scoring with a two run bomb, while Emily Kline clears the bases with a bases clearing single. Rock comes back for more in the seventh, this time seven runs, but Roos put up too much early and will take this one. Roos win 15-12.
