Game One: Beers v. Philly Junk

Philly Junk got first inning doubles from Shanne Hanna, Mike Bitterlich & Brandon Birkhead to help the team plate 5 runs. Justin Miller drove in his 3rd rbi of the game with a sac fly in the 2nd inning and Shanne Hanna and KN Ingram both went yard with solo bombs in the 4th and 7th innings.
Ryan Calabro (Beers) had a nice game on this night. He hit for the cycle which driving in 3 rbi and scoring 4 times. Ryan Whitely hit a 2-run bomb in the 5th inning while Scott Runzer had a 3-run shot in the first. Beers pull off the surprising victory with a 17-13 score.


Game Two: Team Horsham v. Mike’s Bar & Grill

Mike’s took advantage of some key errors in the 2nd inning with Dave Demko and Matt McReynolds both hitting rbi singles. Dave Shannon tripled in the 2nd and scored on Tom Hays’ double while Eric Rosenblum singled home another. Tom also hit a 7th inning solo HR to drive in the team’s 8th run.
This game was tight through the 6th. Zach Prendergast drove in the first of his 5 rbi’s in the first inning with a SAC fly and added a 3-run HR in the 7th. Brandon Birkhead had a huge 3-run homer in the 3rd inning helping the team score 6 in the inning. Matt Galasso had a sac fly in the 5th to score Brad Humski who had doubled earlier in the inning. A 7-run 7th inning was the difference as Horsham nearly doubled up Mikes, 15-8.


Game Three: Dookie Brewster v. Wire-2-Wire

Zach Martin tripled home 2 runs in the 3rd inning and later was part of the team’s 9-run 5th when he doubled home another run. Jarred Gardner doubled home 2 in the 5th and Ryan Goodman had a 2-run homer.
W2W made an attempt early to keep up with Dookie’s offense after Joe DiMezza led off the 1st with a walk and was quickly followed by Chris Morgan for a 2-run homer. Jim Chapman drove in 1 with a sac fly in the 2nd. But the team remained quiet offensively until the 6th inning when Chris and Bill Shallcross hit consecutive rbi singles. Bill Waller doubled home a run in the 7th and Jim Chapman singled home the team’s 7th and final run. Dookie won by 10.


Game Four: HG Coal Fire Pizza v. King’s Corner

Keith Crowell tripled and scored on Mat Crowell’s first inning double. Russell Miller started the 2nd with a double opening up the way for Dan Cynerman and John Erb to single home runs. Russell went on to single home a run in the 3rd and doubled home 2 more in the 5th. Russell finished with 4 hits. King’s Corner had 11 for the game.
HG had no run producing to speak about through the 4th inning. In the 4th, Mark Kennedy reached base on an error to spark a rally. Josh Keszczyk capped the inning with a 2-run double. In the 6th, Brock Veit hit a 2-run homer and Josh then added a 3-run shot. This helped the team score 6 while making it a 1 run game. But in the 7th the rally attempt fell short and King’s Corner survived for the 11-10 victory.
