Game One: Team Horsham v. Wire 2 Wire

Horsham got their typical slugging performance from Zach Prendergast that they are used to. He smashed two bombs in the game with a 2-run shot in the first inning and a solo bomb in the 6th. Brad Humski tripled and scored in the 3rd helping the team plate 10 runs.
Unfortunately for W2W a sluggish day at the plate. Jow DiMezza had 3 hits while driving in 2, btu the rest of the team managed just 3 additional runs. Horsham with the W, 10-4.


Game Two: Mike’s Bar & Grill v. HG Coal Fire Pizza

Mike’s got two quick runs in the first inning off of an rbi single by Tom Hays and an rbi fielders choice from Garrette Koehler. Tony Stuart would then drive in the the team’s third and final run.
The Pizza Guys needed just the first inning to determine this was their game. Thirteen men in the line up and they 17 to the plate. Brendan Parker had already singled in the first, tripled in the 4th and scored on Josh Keszczyk’s rbi single. HG plated 18 and destroyed Mike’s by 13.


Game Three: Philly Junk v. King’s Corner

Philly Junk’s offense started slow but did not stay that way. Brandon Birkhead quickly smashed a 2-run homer in the first inning and Mike Bitterlich then hit a 2 run shot on the 4th. In the 5th, Shane Hanna’s 2-run single and Justin Miller’s 2-run triple helped plate 6 more and Brett Anker drove in a run in the 7th to help the team finish with 19.
The King’s Men got a 2-run single from Jarrett Kerns in the first and then a 3-run bomb in the 3rd. Matt Schaub doubled home 1 in the 4th. Losing by 2 entering the final inninig, Jarrett got the rally going with a single and quickly came in to help tie the game on Matt Schaub’s 2-run bomb. Sean Nonemacher made sure the game ended with aa 2-out rbi single for the walk off 20-19 win.


Game Four: Beers v. Dingers

Dingers had themselves a nice night offensively putting up 16 runs. Pete Auteri tripled home a run in the first inning, Mike Casbar doubled home another in the 2nd, Jake McCall drve in one in the 3rd and Pete again drove in some more, this time 3 by way of a 3-run shot. Eric Popple made sure to triple home another in the 6th.
But Beers’ fared much better. Ryan Maley had a solo bomb in the 3rd followed by Rich Acierno’s 2-run triple in the 4th which Rich followed up with a 3-run homer in the 5th. Josh Goldberg drilled a 2-run homer in the 7th as they managed to score 16 runs in just the final 3 innings. Beers dominant with a 27-16 win.
