Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Roos

Knuckleheads get rolling with a two run bomb from Jesse Faller giving them the early lead. Jon Poore also nets a run on a sac fly. Roos answer with two runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Frank Fusca had a two run double and Jordan Jemenez had an RBI single. Roos grab the lead in the bottom of the inning with five more runs. Fusca was at it again, with a two run triple while Chris Lansberry also adds a run on an RBI single. Knucklheads go back on top in the third, this time with five runs thanks to a Jose Rodriguez two run triple and two run bomb off the bat of Jon Poore. Knuckleheads pad a couple more runs to their lead with back to back RBI singles from Haley Connaughton and Chris Hackney before turning their attention over to the defensive side. Knucklheads hold on and win this one. Knuckleheads win 12-9.

Game #2 – Sandlot Sluggers vs. Mott-ley Crew

Sandlot Sluggers get a first inning Tom Koelzer RBI single to take the early lead. Mott-ley Crew waste no time and get three runs back in the bottom of the inning. Kaelyn Motts starts it with an RBI single followed by a CJ Motts sac fly and Carl Motts RBI single. Sluggers tie this game up in the third with two more runs. Nonny knocks in a run on an RBI double. Crew grab the lead again with a two run triple off the bat off Tom Finn as they lead 6-3 after three innings of play. Crew bat around in the fifth and increase their lead, now to 12-4. Evan Porter smashes a two run bomb in the inning. Sluggers try to keep up and grab four runs in the sixth. Justin Kelly knocks in a run on a sac fly and Axel Alicea smashes a two run bomb. CJ Motts smashes a solo bomb in the sixth as Crew will win this one late. Crew wins 13-9.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Wehrung’s

Demons jump out to five early runs. Jake Haber starts the scoring with an RBI double followed by a Charlie Hooker RBI triple. Jay Pane also adds an RBI triple later in the inning. Wehrung’s answer with a Luke Hendricks three run bomb as they cut the deficit to two runs. Neither team scores in the second before Demons get back to work in the third and fourth inning. Pane was back at it again with a two run bomb in the third and two run triple in the fourth as he continues to stay red hot in this one. Haber also had a bases clearing triple in the fourth. Wehrung’s continue to stuggle at the plate and they cannot push any runs across later in this game after the first inning. Hooker adds a three run bomb and Pat Kelly adds a two run bomb later in the game as this one is all Demons. Demons win 20-3.

Game #4 – Total Liquidators vs. Garges Gang

The final game of the night gets started with RBI singles from Scott Carroll, Bryce Bundy, and Eric Rosenblum as well as an RBI double from Kelly Kornuszko to put up seven runs right out of the gate. Garges gets one run back on an Austin Grasso RBI single. Liquidators get right back to work in the second, this time with two runs on a Carroll two run bomb and Bundy RBI double. Liquidators continue to stay hot and grab another five runs in the third. Carroll was back at it with another RBI, this time on a single as well as Bundy who nets his third RBI of the game. Garges get a couple more runs in the third and fourth as they look to keep this game close. Austin Grasso stays hot at the plate with a two run triple. Garges would stay to fall off as Liquidators continue to stroke the ball well. Carl Patety and Cody Miller add RBI doubles late as Liquidators cruise in this one. Total Liquidators win 22-10.
