Game 1: Dirt Stars vs. Dave & Confused
Dirt Stars drew first blood in this tilt, tallying three runs on a walk, an error, and three singles. In the bottom of the frame, Kyle Pederzani and Carl Ervin smacked doubles as Dave & Confused tied the game at three. Three more crossed the dish for them in the bottom of the second, this time the doubles were provided by Sean Pena and Jake Pederzani. In the top of the third, Dirt Stars tacked a run on the board thanks to three straight singles. The next inning, they batted around and reclaimed the lead by scoring eight runs highlighted by John Boyle smacking a triple and Bobby McHugh clearing the bases on a base knock. Craig Clemente and Kyle Pederzani each drove in a pair on a single and double, respectively, as Dave & Confused cut their deficit by four runs. The top of the fifth saw another four runs for Dirt Stars with Shawn Mackley and John Boyle smacking back-to-back two run doubles. RBI doubles from Bryon McMackin and Sen Pena plus a two run triple off the bat of John Graves scored four for Dave & Confused, leaving them down just one run. Dirt Stars forced a couple errors in the top of the sixth and added a double from Bobby McHugh as they scored two runs. In the bottom of the frame, Dave & Confused managed to get a pair of runners aboard, but they’d fail to score. Dirt Stars fends off Dave & Confused and won by a score of 18-15.

Man of the Match: Bobby McHugh (3-4, 2 BB, 3 R, 2B, 4 RBI)

Game 3: Yankee Clippers vs. Sunday Scaries
In the top of the first, Yankee Clippers got on the board with one run thanks to an error, a couple fielder’s choices, and a Matt Horn double. Sunday Scaries took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the first with Mark Kennedy providing a double on top of a walk, sac fly, and three singles. Dave McCaughley cranked a solo bomb the next frame to tie the game for Yankee Clippers. In the bottom of the second, Mark Kennedy drove in a pair by ripping a triple to double the output for Sunday Scaries. In the top of the fourth, doubles were ripped by Matt Horn, Mike Karaba, and Andrew Coates as Yankee Clippers added three to their total. Two singles and a fielder’s choice added a run for Yankee Clippers in the top of the fifth. Sunday Scaries matched that in the bottom of the frame as Nick Wasekanes drove in Terry Heller. Up just one, Yankee Clippers added six runs to their total in the top of the sixth thanks to Chris Karaba and Dave McCaughley poking doubles and Carson Coates smacking a triple. In the top of the seventh, Matt Horn provided the highlight by launching a solo dinger as Yankee Clippers scored three insurance runs to pad their lead. Sunday Scaries were only able to draw a walk in the final frame as they fell to Yankee Clippers 15-5.

Man of the Match: Chris Karaba (3-3, 2 R, Sac Fly, 2B, HR, 3 RBI)

Forfeits:
Sunday Scaries and Philly’s Phinest each received a 7-0 win due to forfeits from Cifelli’s Sunoco.
