A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Bird Gang vs. Pigeon Boyz

BG scores four runs on singles in the top of the first. PB gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second. Doubles by Shane Hanna, Mike Bitterlich, and Mike Gilbert net PB five runs in the bottom of the third. BG adds five runs in the top of the sixth with doubles by Justin H and Shawn Collins. BG bats around in the top of the seventh to plate seven runs thanks to doubles by Justin H and Anthony Massi. PB rallies for four runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to doubles by KC Ingram and Mike Bitterlich, and a Shane Hanna two run triple. Bird Gang out slugs the Pigeon Boyz, 17-14.

Game 2: Doom Cats vs. Silverbacks

The Silverbacks take an early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a DJ Ellars RBI double. The Silverbacks plate three more runs in the bottom of the second on singles. DC gets on the board with a run in the top of the third. The Silverbacks use more singles to pick up three runs in the bottom of the fifth. DC adds five runs in the top of the sixth with singles, and a Jose Rodriguez RBI triple. The Silverbacks score two insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth. DC rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. The Silverbacks top the Doom Cats, 10-8.

Game 3: Dirty Dozen vs. Vertex

DD starts hot with five runs in the top of the first on singles, and a Mike Ivers two run triple. A Matt Schaub triple helps Vertex get a run in the bottom of the first. Doubles by John Erb and Mike Ivers net DD two runs in the top of the third. A leadoff double by Brian Dicesare helps DD get three runs in the top of the fourth. Vertex pushes four runs across in the bottom of the fifth on singles, and a Bill Brancato RBI triple. Single lead to three runs for Vertex in the bottom of the sixth. A double by Bill Brancato helps Vertex rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with Dan Cymerman ripping the game winning hit. Vertex walks it off against Dirty Dozen, 12-11.

B South

Lukens I

Game 1: Mafia Madmen vs. Vikings

MM bats around in the top of the first to score six runs on singles. The Vikings bat around in the bottom of the first to plate five runs on singles. A leadoff triple by R Delise nets MM a run in the top of the second. MM picks up five runs in the top of the third on walks and singles. The Vikings pick up another run in the bottom of the fourth. The Vikings rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. Mafia Madmen beat the Vikings, 13-8.

Game 2: Ballz Deep vs. Spartans

The Spartans take an early lead with three runs on singles in the bottom of the first. BD bats around in the to of the second to score six runs on singles, doubles by Jaden Hurrby and Derek Benner, and a Tim Frei two run triple. Back to back triples by Mike Jarigue and Jay Cowan net the Spartans two runs in the bottom of the third. Tim Glick blasts a three run homer for BD in the top of the fourth. BD gets four runs in the top of the fifth thanks to an RBI double by Tim Frei. Matt Walsh smashes a solo homer for the Spartans in the bottom of the fifth as four runs cross the plate. Jay Cowan jacks a solo homer for the Spartans in the bottom of the sixth. Tim Frei jacks a two run homer for BD in the top of the seventh. The Spartans rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Ballz Deep squeaks by the Spartans, 17-16.

Game 3: Web Gems vs. Mud Dogs

MD takes the early lead with three runs on singles in the bottom of the first. WG gets on the board in the top of the third with six runs thanks to a double by Arik Fenton, and an Anthony Izzi three run homer. Five runs cross the plate for WG in the top of the fourth as Anthony Izzi blasts another three run homer. MD bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score eight runs on walks and singles. MD plates three runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Mud Dogs get by the Web Gems, 15-13.

Groveland

Game 2: The Naturals vs. Lucky Dog

Matt Jacobson smokes an RBI triple for LD in the bottom of the first. TN puts up five runs in the top of the second thanks to a two run double by Sanket Kapadia. TN bats around in the top of the third to score eight runs on errors, singles, and a double by Partha Patel. LD bats around in the bottom of the third to plate six runs thanks to a two run double by TJ Ousey, and a Matt Jacobson three run homer. TN adds four runs in the top of the sixth with a two run double by Andrew Masciantonio and a Partha Patel triple. LD rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. The Naturals take down Lucky Dog, 20-12.

Game 3: Lucky Dog vs. Bogey Boys

A triple by Matt Jacobson helps LD net two runs in the top of the first. BB bats around in the bottom of the first to score seven runs on singles, and a John Slack double. John Slack smashes a two run homer for BB in the bottom of the third. Two runs cross the plate for BB in the bottom of the fourth thanks to doubles by Justin Hughes and John B, and a Patrick Smith RBI triple. Matt Jacobson rips an RBI triple for LD in the top of the fifth. LD picks up six runs in the top of the sixth as Matt Jacobson gets another two run triple in the top of the sixth. Justin Hughes launches a solo homer for BB in the bottom of the sixth. The Bogey Boys take care of Lucky Dog, 13-11.

Game 4: Bogey Boys vs. Rolling Rock

Brian Connell rips a two run double for BB in the top of the first. RR answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. BB bats around in the top of the second to score six runs with two run doubles by Patrick Smith and Brian O’Donnell. RR bats around in the bottom of the second to push four runs across on walks and singles. BB bats around once again in the top of the third to pick up nine runs on singles. RR bats around in the bottom of the third to score five runs with a double by Josh Owens. BB bats around in the top of the fifth to plate nine runs thanks to a solo homer and three run homer by John Procopio. The Bogey Boys destroy Rolling Rock, 28-12.
