Saturday morning and it's a makeup game from April 5th between King's Corner and Just Food.

Just Food is still sleeping in the first and scores nothing. Kings Corner plate 1 in the bottom of the 1st. In the 2nd, Just Food gets on the board on sub Rob Lyons' triple. King's Corner Answer back with 5 runs in the bottom of the 2nd, led by 5 walks and a Sean Nonemacher double. Score is 6-2 after 2. Just Food adds 2 more runs in the 3rd and 4th, with help from John Biondo's triple. King's Corner tacks on another 4 in the 3rd, again on walks and a couple of sac flies from Nonemacher and Justin Miller. After 4, the score is 10-4. Just Food adds 2 runs in the 5th, with sub Brandon Birkhead smashing a double and Lyons with a sac fly. Kings Corner goes back to work in the bottom of the 5th, plating 3 on doubles from Matt Crowell and John Erb, along with a 2-run blast from Matt Schaub. Score is now 13-6. In the final 2 innings, Just Food threatens by scoring 5 runs, topped off by sub Jason Ashworth's 3-run homer and (also a sub) Evan Porter's double. Kings Corner top off the morning with a solo shot in the 6th from sub Dave Nonemacher and take the game 15-11.

NOTE: Matt Schaub needed to go at least 3 for 3 to take the single season batting record of .903 away from Frank Hackett. As Matt went 1 for 2 with 2 walks and a sac fly, his season batting average ended up at .870. A terrific season, but not quite enough to top the immortal Frank Hackett.
