Game 1: I’d Hit That vs. Wu Tang

A leadoff double by Robert Garcia leads to a run for IHT in the top of the first. WT answers with four runs in the bottom of the first thanks to an RBI double by Kenny Goodwin and a Jon Poore solo homer. Brandon Birkhead rips an RBI double for WT in the bottom of the third. WT bats around in the bottom of the fifth to plate seven runs on a bunch of singles. Wu Tang takes down I’d Hit That, 16-1.

Game 2: Wu Tang vs. Team Hunt

In the top of the first Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for WT in the top of the first. A leadoff triple by Patrick Teefy helps TH score two runs in the bottom of the first. In the top of the second WT bats around to score NINETEEN runs highlighted by a Jon Poore three run homer and a grand slam by Brandon Birkhead. WT gets five more runs in the top of the third on singles, and a Bryan Peterman double. TEN runs cross the plate for WT in the top of the fourth as Brandon Birkhead jacks his second grand slam, and third homer of the game. A leadoff triple by Mark Sudell helps TH add a run in the bottom of the fourth. Wu Tang destroys Team Hunt, 37-4.

Game 3: Alaskan Bullworms vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH picks up six runs in the bottom of the first with a three run triple by Ron Pulli. AB gets on the board with three runs in the top of the second on errors and singles. Keith Keppley blasts a three run homer for HH in the bottom of the third. HH bats around in the bottom of the fourth to score seven runs on singles, and an RBI triple by Keith Keppley. Hagan’s Heroes makes quick work of Alaskan Bullworms, 18-3.

Game 1: Breaking Bat vs. JT Bankers

JT bats around in the bottom of the first to pick up seven runs on walks, singles, and a two run double by Jon Rubin. Walks and singles lead to six runs for JT in the bottom of the second. BB bats around in the top of the fourth to score nine runs with a two run double by Rob Eycker, and a Jesse Swan solo homer. Three runs cross the plate for JT in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a two run double by Jon Rubin and a Bedn Suder triple. Jesse Swan jacks a two run homer for BB in the top of the sixth. JT adds three runs in the bottom of the sixth with doubles by Ben Suder and Dan Croak. JT Bankers out slugs Breaking Bat, 22-13.

Game 2: JT Bankers vs. Dirt Dogs

JT bats around in the top of the first to score five runs thanks to doubles by Matt Bechtel, Jon Rubin, and Tom Kluge, and a Dan Croak three run homer. DD bats around in the bottom of the first to get six runs on singles. Singles lead to three runs for JT in the top of the second. DD add three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Tom Kluge rips a two run double for JT in the top of the seventh. DD rallies for five runs in the bottom of the seventh with Danielle S getting the game winning walk. The Dirt Dogs beat JT Bankers in dramatic fashion, 15-14.

Envi wins by FORFEIT

Game 2: Slap A Pitch vs. Envi

Envi takes the early lead with four runs in the bottom of the first with a double by Bill Schnakenburg. Matt Schubel and Jon Williams blast back to back homers for Envi in the bottom of the second. SAP gets on the board with a run in the top of the third. SAP bats around in the top of the sixth to get eight runs on singles. Jon Williams jacks a two run homer for Envi in the bottom of the sixth. SAP rallies for three runs on singles in the top of the seventh. Slap A Pitch ties Envi, 13-13.
