Game 1: Alaskan Bullworms vs. JT Bankers

Alaskan Bullworms win by FORFEIT 7-0

Game 2: Wu Tang Forever vs. Wackers

Brandon Birkhead smashes a two run homer for WTF in the top of the first. Jarrett Kerns smokes an RBI triple for the Wackers in the bottom of the first. WTF plates two runs on singles in the top of the second. Jon Poore blasts a solo homer for WTF in the top of the third. The Wackers add two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Jon Poore jacks another homer in the top of the fifth. Three run cross the plate for WTF in the top of the sixth thanks to a two run double by Brandon Birkhead. The Wackers rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to an RBI double by Carmen Brancato. Wu Tang Forever tops the Wackers, 12-8.

Game 3: Wu Tang Forever vs. Gwynedd Manufacturing

WTF scores six runs in the top of the first with doubles by Kenny, Hackney, John Erb, Brandon Birkhead, and Colin. Colin W rips an RBI double for GM in the bottom of the first. WTF bats around again in the top of the third to plate THIRTEEN runs on singles, doubles by Chelsea and Tommy, and triples by Brandon Birkhead and Colin. WTF bats around once again in the top of the fourth to add ELEVEN runs on a lot of singles. GM rallies for two runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a leadoff double by Hunter D. Wu Tang Forever decimates Gwynedd Manufacturing, 32-4.

Hatfield

Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Breaking Bats

HH bats around to score THIRTEEN runs in the top of the first on singles, and doubles by Jay Pane, Ron Pulli, Adam Lightkep, and Keith Keppley. Singles and walks get HH four runs in the top of the second. HH bats around again in the top of the third to put up TWELVE runs on walks, singles, and a Jay Pane grand slam. BB can’t get anything going offensively. Hagan’s Heroes shuts out Breaking Bats, 31-0.

Game 2: No Show vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH takes the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first. NS gets on the board in the top of the fourth with a Derek Strowhouer solo homer. Singles lead to three runs for HH in the bottom of the third. HH tacks on two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. NS rallies in the top of the seventh thanks to a Jesser Faller three run homer. Hagan’s Heroes gets by No Show, 8-5.

Game 3: No Shows vs. Hit & Run

Derek Strowhouer smokes an RBI double for NS in the top of the first. Singles get NS four runs in the top of the second. Back to back to back doubles by Gene Schwendeman, Brian Chester, and Andrew Alexander helps NS pick up four runs in the top of the third. HAR gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the third. Ted Stoupakis rips an RBI double for HAR in the bottom of the fourth. NS bats around in the top of the fifth to push eight runs across on singles, a triple by Derek Strowhouer, and a Jesse Fowler three run homer. The No Shows take down Hit & Run, 18-5.

Game 4: Dirt Dogs vs. Hit & Run

DD gets three runs in the top of the first. Doubles by Kevin Ryan and Brian Randazzo net HAR two runs in the bottom of the first. Brian Randazzo smashes a three run triple for HAR in the bottom of the second. HAR bats around in the bottom of the third to score five runs with a Kevin Ryan two run triple. DD adds two runs in the top of the sixth on singles. HAR adds three more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Hit & Run takes care of the Dirt Dogs, 18-6.
