Dookie Brewster (3-1) vs. Team Horsham (2-2)
Both teams score in the 1st, with Jared Gardner of Dookie Brewster knocking one over the fence. Team Horsham adds 3 more in the 2nd, as does Dookie Brewster. Jason Mclaughlin's double helps the cause for Dookie Brewster. Team Horsham adds 2 in the 3rd, with Mike Bobrin and Kevin Smith whacking back-to-back doubles. For Dookie Brewster, Jared Gardne smacks his 2nd homer, scoring 2. After 3, it's 7-6 favor of Team Horsham. They'll add 2 more in the 4th, on errors, walks, and a sac fly from Zach Taub. Jon Poore smacks a homer in the bottom of the 4th for Dookie Brewster. Brett Saverio does the same for Team Horsham in the top of the 5th, and Brad Hamski doubles. Jimmy Craigs doubles and scores in the bottom of the 5th for Dookie Brewster. In the final 2 innings, Team Horsham scores 2 more, on doubles from Mike Bobrin and Matt Glasso, Brad Hamski's triple and Dan Lineberger's homer. But a huge 6th inning from Dookie Brewster puts this game away. They bat around and score 13, with Garder hitting his 3rd home run, Tom Koezler smacking TWO 2 run homers, Jon Poore with his 2nd homer, James McLaughlin homering, and Mo Rodriguez tripling. Dookie Brewster wins 22-13. NOTE: It seems Dookie Brewster batted 8 All-Stars in the lineup, so this game will be a loss for Dookie Brewster and a win for Team Horsham.

Game 2: Wire2Wire Sports Podcast (3-1) vs. Kings Corner (1-2-1)
Kings Corner start off hot with a lead off homer form Jarett Kerns. He'll also double in the 6th, and along with Frank Fusca's triple, that's pretty much all the highlights for Kings Corner. On the other side of the page, Wire2Wire scores in every inning except the 5th. Doubles from Brandon Bozek, Ben Vitelli, and Gene Walczak, along with Jim Chapman's triple and a homer highlight Wire2Wire's day. Wire to Wire Sports Podcast wins easily, 13-3.

Game 3: Philly Junk (4-0) vs. Just Food (0-4)
Will Just Food get their first win of the summer against the 1st place team? Probably not. Philly Junk starts off the 1st batting around TWICE and scoring 16. Doubles from Mike Bitterlach, Ryan Habel, KC Ingram, and Brandon Birkhead, triples from Tom Ivers, Jason Ashworth, and Brandon Birkhead, and a home run from Ingram get the job done. In the 2nd,they'll bat around twice again and score 15. Is there a 30 after 2 mercy rule? We'll see more homeruns from Bitterlach, Ashworth, and Jeremy Villano (2 in the inning), a triple from Ryan Habel, and a double from Pat Kelley. In the final inning (the 3rd), Birkhead finally joins the homerun bandwagon, completing his cycle. On the other side of the diamond, Just Food eeks out 4 runs on two doubles from John Sandy and a triple from Marty Balent. Philly Junk goes to 5-0 with a 35-4 win.

Game 4: Beers (1-2-1) vs. Dingers (2-2)
Dingers start off with a leadoff strikeout (I won't mention his name but he better bring beer next week), and then go on to score 2 on Mike Casbar's homer. Beers score 3 in the 1st, with Connor McFarlane tripling. Beers pitcher must be throwing a lot of good junk, getting another Dingers batter to strikeout. Despite the wiff, Dingers bat around and score 6 in the 2nd, with Casbar's 2nd dinger and Eric Popple tripling. Beers do nothing in the 2nd. Dingers bat around again in the 3rd and score another 6. Chad Toner legs out a triple and Pete Auteri smacks a 3-run bomb. Not to be outdone, Beers bats around in the bottom of the 3rd. Doubles from Ryan Maley and Josh Goldberg, a triple from Scott Gerhardt and homers from McFarlane and Goldberg highlight the scoring. Dingers bat around again in the 4th and score yet another 6 runs on doubles from Auteri, Casbar and Connor O'Keefe. Beers also bat around again in the 5th. Tim Coleman and Kurt Krout triple, Maley and Goldberg double, and McFarlane and Ryan Calabro smack a couple over the fence. Despite a good 5th inning for Dingers, with back-to-back doubles from Dan Blazek and Chad Toner, Beers win this slugfest, 28-23.
