Game 1: Pigeon Boyz vs. Silverbacks

PB takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks tie it up with a run in the bottom of the second. The Silverbacks pick up three runs in the bottom of the third on walks and singles. OB bats around in the top of the fourth to plate ELEVEN runs thanks to homers by Shane Hannah, Brandon Birkhead(2), Mike Bittelich, and KC Ingram. PB adds three runs in the top of the fifth. Seven runs cross the plate for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth thanks to singles, and a Shawn R three run homer. Brandon Birkhead blasts his third homer of the game for PB in the top of the sixth. Errors net the Silverbacks three runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Silverbacks rally for four runs in the bottom of the seventh with Ari S blasting the game winning two out two run homer. The Silverbacks walk it off to take game 1, 19-17.

Game 2: Silverbacks vs. Pigeon Boyz

Singles get the Silverbacks three runs in the top of the first. Mike Bittelich jacks a two run homer for PB in the bottom of the first. Brandon Bozek smokes a two run triple for PB in the bottom of the second. The Silverbacks pick up five runs in the top of the third on singles, and an RBI double by DJ Ellars. The Silverbacks score five more runs in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Carlos Gonzalez and Jamal Covington, and an Ari S two run homer. Brandon Birkhead launches a solo homer for PB in the bottom of the fifth. Errors lead to two more runs for the Silverbacks in the top of the sixth. PB rallies for five runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to doubles by Tom Ivers, Branon Birkhead, Mike Bitterlich, and Brett A. The Silverbacks beat the Pigeon Boyz, 15-12, to win game 2 and the spring A title. Congrats!

Game 1: Web Gems vs. Ballz Deep

Tim Frei smashes a two run homer for BD in the bottom of the first. WG plates four runs in the top of the second with singles. BD answers with four runs of their own in the bottom of the second. A leadoff double by Eric Adiletto nets WG a run in the top of the fourth. WG adds four runs in the top of the fifth on singles, and a double by Alex Larosa. Tim Glick smokes a two run homer for BD in the bottom of the fifth. With a tie game in the bottom of the seventh, Tim Glick rips the bases loaded game winning hit for BD. Ballz Deep walks it off over the Web Gems, 12-11.

Game 2: Ballz Deep vs. Web Gems

BD puts up four runs in the top of the first thanks to a triple by Nick Carl, and a Tim Glick three run homer. Andrew Alexander rips a double as WG scores two runs in the bottom of the first. BD plates two runs in the top of the second. Walks and singles lead to five runs for BD in the top of the fifth. Eric Adiletto blasts a solo homer for WG in the bottom of the fifth. WG pushes five runs across in the bottom of the sixth on walks, and a Joey Greiner two run homer. Ballz Deep doubles up on the Web Gems, 14-7, to win the B South spring chip. Congrats!
