Game 1: Hit & Run vs. Hagan’s Heroes

HH bats around in the bottom of the first to score seven runs on walks and singles. HAR gets on the board with three runs in the top of the second. HH bats around again in the bottom of the second to put up eight runs with three run homers by Adam Lightkep and Kris Pulli. A whole lot of singles lead to nine more runs for HH in the bottom of the third. Hagan’s Heroes makes quick work of Hit & Run, 24-3.

Game 2: Wu Tang Forever vs. Nihilators

Sean P blasts a two run homer for WTF in the top of the first. Brian Chester smokes an RBI double for the Nihilators in the bottom of the first. WTF puts up six runs in the top of the third thanks to an RBI triple by Brandon Birkhead, and a Jon Poore two run homer. Another triple by Brandon Birkhead helps WTF get two more runs in the top of the sixth. A Brian Chester leadoff triple nets the Nihilators a run in the bottom of the sixth. Brandon Birkhead jacks a two run homer for WTF in the top of the seventh. Wu Tang Forever tops the Nihilators, 17-4.

Game 3: Dirt Dogs vs. Nihilators

Errors get DD two runs in the top of the first. DD bats around in the top of the second to score nine runs with doubles by Elijah Robinson and Lawrence Jared, and an Ian solo homer. The Nihilators answer with three runs in the bottom of the second. The Nihilators plate four runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a Nick Pigott double. Back to back RBI doubles by Ian and Brandon net DD two runs in the top of the fifth. Elijah Robinson rips a two run triple for DD in the top of the sixth. The Nihilators bat around in the bottom of the sixth to get seven runs on singles, and a Casey C solo homer. The Dirt Dogs squeak by the Nihilators, 16-15.

Game 2: Wackers vs. Slap A Pitch

The Wackers bat around in the top of the first to score FIFTEEN runs on singles, doubles by Roc Akers, Sean Nonemacher, and Alex Freeman, a Sean Nonemacher RBI triple, and a Jarrett Kerns three run homer. The Wackers bat around again in the top of the second to score six runs thanks to a Roc Akers two run homer. Sean Nonemacher rips a three run double for the Wackers in the top of the third. SAP gets on the board in the bottom of the fourth with five runs on singles. The Wackers destroy Slap A Pitch, 26-5.

Game 1: Envi vs. No Shows

Matt Shubert blasts a three run homer for Envi in the top of the first. NS bats around in the bottom of the first to score TWELVE runs on walks, singles, and a grand slam by Derek Strowhouer. Singles lead to three runs for Envi in the top of the second. A leadoff double by Matt Shubert helps Envi get three runs in the top of the third. Derek Strowhouer jacks a two run homer for NS in the bottom of the third. Six runs cross the plate for NS in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles, and a bases loaded triple by CJ Koysoni. Envi adds three more runs in the top of the fifth. The No Shows double up on Envi, 22-11.

Game 2: Team Hunt vs. Envi

Singles lead to three runs for TH in the top of the first. Matt Shubert smashes a two run homer for Envi in the bottom of the first. TH plates two more runs in the top of the third. Matt Shubert smokes a three run homer in the bottom of the third as four runs come in. A double by Bob Kearns helps Envi add two runs in the bottom of the fifth. A leadoff double by Doug Meehan helps TH score three runs in the top of the sixth. TH picks up five runs in the top of the seventh thanks to doubles by Nik Pitaki, Christian Butrica, and Doug Meehan. Envi rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Team Hunt tops Envi, 13-10.
