Game 1: Monsters & Menthols vs. Reap What You Sow

MM bats around in the top of the first to score nine runs thanks to doubles by Roc Akers and Bill Brancato, and a Tom Koelzer two run homer. A leadoff triple by Scott Forsyth leads to a run for RWYS in the bottom of the first. A leadoff double by Sean Nonemacher nets MM two runs in the top of the second. MM plates five runs in the top of the third. Triples by Brandon Birkhead and Erin Renning lead to two runs for RWYS in the bottom of the fifth. Monsters & Menthols take down Reap What You Sow, 18-3.

Game 3: Smokin Bunts vs. Man Bear Pigs

SB scores two runs in the top of the first. MBP answers with three runs in the bottom of the first thanks to an RBI double by Dan Vescovi. MBP bat around in the bottom of the second to pick up ELEVEN runs on walks, singles, and a Sophia Spario RBI triple. Derrick H smokes a two run double for SB in the top of the third. Steve Skeds and Dan Vescovi jack homers for MBP in the bottom of the fourth. Shane Stewart smashes a three run homer for SB in the top of the fifth. Man Bear Pigs take down Smokin Bunts, 18-11.

Game 4: No Show vs. Hagan’s Heroes

Two runs cross the plate for NS in the top of the first on a Glenn Strattis triple and a two run homer by Zach S. HH answers with six runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Jason McLaughlin and Keith Keppley, and a Jay Muir solo homer. Glenn Strattis smokes a three run double for NS in the top of the second. Jason McLaughlin blasts a two run homer for HH in the bottom of the second. HH bats around in the bottom of the fourth to add seven runs on singles, and doubles by Keith Keppley and Bryan Peterman. A leadoff triple by Derek Strowhouer nets NS a run in the top of the fifth. Hagan’s Heroes beats No Show, 21-9.
