Game #1 – Altek vs. Carroll’s

Carroll’s come out of the gate with an RBI double off the bat of Greg Lesher to get things rolling. Carroll’s get five more runs in the second inning on a Kelly Gallagher RBI double, followed by a John Zeits RBI single. Lesher was back at it again with a two run single and the inning was rounded out by a Bill Shipe sac fly. Altek struggles in this one putting up a big goose egg through three innings. Carroll’s is back at it, this time with seven runs as they bat around in the third. Zeits had a two run single while Sarah Yoos and Gallagher netted two more runs on singles. This game would end early with a two run double from Mike Stacey as Altek can push any runs across throughout the game. Carroll’s win 15-0.

Player of the Game:

Game #2 – Muckdogs vs. Carroll’s

The second game of the night gets rolling with a two run bomb off the bat of James Rundatz. Carroll’s will get one run back on an RBI single from Bill Shipe. Carroll’s bat around in the second inning and push across six runs. Zeits and Yoos both had two run singles in the inning. Muckdogs respond in the third inning when they bat around. Rundatz was back at it again, this time with a three run shot, while Tony Cabot and Bill Hamill netted three runs on doubles. Brielle Eve also had an RBI double in the inning. Rundatz adds two more on a two run bomb, his third homer of the game as Muckdogs continue to lead in this one. Carroll’s come to play in the fifth and sixth innings as they look to fight back and take the lead. Greg Lesher starts it with a two run bomb. Yoos also nets two runs on a two run triple. Lesher is back at it again, this time with a three run bomb as Carroll’s take the lead late. Muckdogs add a late two run bomb, off the bat of Eric Schade, but they are going to fall in this one. Carroll’s win 18-16.

Game #3 – Rock N Rebel vs. Muckdogs

The Muckdogs have come to play in the final game of the night as they break open a seven run lead right out of the gate. Roger Ayala starts it with an RBI triple, followed by RBI singles from Rundatz and Cabot as well as a Bill Hamill two run triple. Muckdogs outdo their first inning and push 13 runs across in the second. Jeff Hess smacks a two run bomb, while Hamill stays hot with a two run double and Rundatz does the same with a RBI triple. Ayala comes out with a three run bomb later in the inning as this game is falling out of favor for Rebel fast. Rebel will really struggle in this one and can’t push any runs across. Muckdogs will blow this one out and win this one big. Muckdogs win 25-0.
