Game #1 – Dug Out Demons vs. Rock n Rebel

Koezler gets the Demons started with an RBI triple giving them an early 2-0 lead. No Action would come until the top of the third, when Demons add to their lead. Pat Kelley and Koezler were carrying the weight with going back to back with big homers. Kelley hit a two run and Koezler was a solo shot. Jay Pane and Jake Haber also had back to back RBI singles later in the inning. Rebel finally respond with a two run triple from Zac Talmadge and RBI single from Bob Kolecki. Demons would trump that with another massive inning. Koezler would go deep in this one with a three run bomb. Homers from Kelley and Koezler continue to be the story line of this game as they both would end up hitting three homers each. Demons have a massive fifth inning and crush it in this one. Demons win 31-9.

Game #2 – Dug Out Demons vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Demons look to keep their hot hitting going in the second game and do so, with back to back homers again from Kelley and Koezler. Evan Porter will get one run back on an RBI triple. Kelley would do what he has done best today and smash another homer, a three run shot in the third inning, and his fifth of the day. Bill Shallcross also smashes a sac fly in the inning as they lead 9-4 after three innings. Crew try to stay in the game with four runs over the next couple of innings. Mengal had a two run single. Demons bat around in the fifth getting another homer off the bat of Kelley, as he is just hitting them out at will. Demons will close this game out with yet another homer, this time by Koezler, his fifth of the night. Kelley and Koelzer really steal the show in this one. Demons win 21-13.

Game #3 – Wackers vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Wackers get rolling early in this one with a two run double off the bat of Alex Freeman. Pete will follow that up with an RBI double a batter later. Dennis and Jess will also add RBI singles in the inning as they take a big 9-0 lead early. Crew will respond back in the second inning with four runs. Brady Mengal had a two run single while Lauren G and Selina A had RBI singles. Dan Vescovi gets it rolling in the third with an RBI single as Wackers will continue to hold a lead after three innings of play. We fast forward to the fifth when Wackers push across five more runs. Freeman and Roc Akers would go yard in the inning as they lead 17-10. Wackers grab some insurance runs on a three run bomb by Pete. Crew will get it going in the seventh with five more runs, Carl Potts with an RBI double and Porter, Motts with RBI singles, but that is where they would fall short. Wackers win 20-15.

Game #4 – Carroll’s vs. Wackers

Wackers look to continue their good night at the plate and get six runs, with a two run double from Dennis and two run bomb from Jess. Carroll’s will not respond well, and only put up two runs across the first four innings. Wackers would get three runs in the third on a Dan two run single and Roc fielder’s choice. Carroll’s will wake up in the fifth, with seven runs. Bill and Bryan knock in four runs after back to back 2 run hits. Wackers will respond right away with five runs of their own in the fifth. Dan had a two run single and Pete had a two run double. Wackers will add four more insurance runs in the sixth. Alex smashed a two run triple in the inning. Carroll’s wake up and come to play in the seventh. Bill and Steve will knock RBI singles, while Bryan and Ali have sac flies. In the end, Carroll’s would fall just short in this one. Wackers win 18-15.
