A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Vertex vs. Dirty Dozen

Matt Schaub blasts a two run homer for Vertex in the top of the first. DD answers with three runs in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles by Rock and Pete. Pat Kelley smashes a three run homer for Vertex in the top of the third. Four runs cross the plate for Vertex in the top of the fourth thanks to back to back doubles by Dan C and Sean Nonemacher. Vertex plates three runs in the top of the fifth with a triple by Matt Schaub, and a Pat Kelley solo homer. DD scores five runs in the bottom of the fifth with a two run double by John. Jeremy jacks a two run homer for DD in the bottom of the seventh. Vertex squeaks by Dirty Dozen, 14-13.

Game 2: Pigeon Boyz vs. Doom Cats

KC Ingram smashes a three run homer for PB in the top of the first. PB plates two runs in the top of the second. DC gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second. Brandon Birkhead launches a solo homer for PB in the top of the third. DC bats around in the bottom of the third to score TEN runs on singles, a two run triple by Jay Pane, and a Tom Koelzer three run homer. KC Ingram smokes a two run double for PB in the top of the fifth. Jon Poore blasts a solo homer for DC in the bottom of the fifth. Singles net PB four runs in the top of the sixth. DC rallies for three runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Doom Cats out slug the Pigeon Boyz, 18-15.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Silverbacks

Jon Poore smashes a two run homer for DC in the top of the first. The Silverbacks answer with seven runs in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles by Jamal Covington, Phil B, and DJ Ellars, and an Ari Silverstein two run homer. Tom Koelzer launches a grand slam for DC in the top of the second. Ari Silverstein smokes an RBI triple for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the second. Tom Koelzer and Jon Poore both smoke two run homers for DC in the top of the fourth. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the fourth to score eight runs thanks to doubles by Ian Cuozzo, Phil B, and Scott Castner. Phil B and DJ Ellars blast back to back homers for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth. The Silverbacks top the Doom Cats, 24-14.

Game 4: Ball Busters vs. Bird Gang

BB plates two runs in the top of the first. James McLaughlin blasts a three run homer for BG in the bottom of the first. BB bats around in the top of the second to get six runs on singles, and an RBI triple by Neal Hebert. Jason McLaughlin smokes a solo homer for BG in the bottom of the third. BG bats around in the bottom of the fifth to push nine runs across on singles, and a Jason McLaughlin grand slam. BB picks up nine runs in the top of the sixth on singles, and a solo homer by Andrew P. In the bottom of the seventh James McLaughlin smashes a two out walk off grand slam. Bird Gang walks it off over the Ball Busters, 25-21.

B South

Lukens III

Game 1: Birds of War vs. The Naturals

BOW gets a run in the top of the first. Tim Macrone smashes a two run homer for TN in the bottom of the second. BOW bats around in the top of the third to score five runs with a Dave Mauricio three run homer. BOW puts up eight runs in the top of the fourth thanks to homers by Andy Snyder, Tom Bush, and Dave Mauricio. TN plates five runs in the bottom of the fourth with doubles by Nick Ryan and Mike Ercolino, and a Tom Finn two run triple. Two runs cross the plate for BOW in the top of the seventh thanks to an RBI double by Alejandro Omeda and a Dave Mauricio triple. TN rallies in the bottom of the fifth for nine runs on walks, singles, and a three run double by Tim Macrone. The Naturals out slug Birds of War, 20-16.

Game 2: Vikings vs. Mud Dogs

The Viking take an early lead in the top of the first with three runs on back to back doubles by Jon Walsh and Craig Richards. MD answers with three runs on singles in the bottom of the first. Walks net the Vikings two runs in the top of the third. Joe Gladish jacks a two run homer for the Vikings in the top of the fourth. Josh Figueroa smokes a two run homer for MD in the bottom of the fourth. MD bats around in the bottom of the fifth to score nine runs thanks to a grand slam by Matt Figueroa. Walks lead to four runs for the Vikings in the top of the sixth. In the bottom of the seventh Sam Matos rips the game winning single for MD. The Mud Dogs walk it off over the Vikings, 15-14.

Game 3: Web Gems vs. Rolling Rocks

WG plates five runs in the top of the first thanks to a two run double by Arik Fenton. Anthony Izzi blasts a three run homer for WG in the top of the second. Arik Fenton rips a leadoff homer for WG in the top of the third. Casey Condron and Jay Cowan jack back to back homers for RR in the bottom of the third. Joey Ferrell gets in on the homer barrage for RR in the bottom of the fourth, hitting a solo shot. WG adds four more runs in the top of the sixth. Jay Cowan smokes a two run triple for RR in the bottom of the sixth. The Web Gems top the Rolling Rocks, 15-10.

Game 4: Do Work vs. Isotopes

DW takes an early lead in the top of the first with six runs on singles, and a Scott Chmura two run triple. Jake H jacks a three run homer for DW in the top of the second. The Isotopes get on the board with six runs on singles. Back to back doubles by Scott Chmura and Jake H lead to five runs for DW in the top of the fifth. The Isotopes bat around in the bottom of the fifth to put up seven runs thanks to a two run double by Keith Y, and a Ray S two run triple. DW plates three runs in the top of the sixth thanks to a two run double by Scott Chmura, and a Jake H RBI triple. The Isotopes rally for two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Do Work tops the Isotopes, 21-15.
