A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Ball Busters vs. Silverbacks

A double by Dave Porco helps the Silverbacks get two runs in the bottom of the first. BB puts up three runs in the top of the second thanks to doubles by Zach Lyall and Justin Knapp. Jay Stein blasts a three run homer for BB in the top of the third. The Silverbacks add a run in the bottom of the third. Walks and singles net BB four runs in the top of the fourth. Jay Stein smokes a two run triple for BB in the top of the seventh. The Silverbacks rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Ball Busters top the Silverbacks, 15-5.

Game 2: Vertex vs. Bird Gang

A leadoff triple by Sean Nonemacher helps Vertes get two runs in the top of the first. Pat Kelley rips a two run double as three runs come in for Vertex in the top of the second. Back to back to back doubles by Frank Staber, Chris Abato, and Sean Nonemacher helps Vertex score four runs in the top of the fourth. BG gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Matt Schaub rips a two run double for Vertex in the top of the fifth. James McLaughlin jacks a two run homer for BG in the bottom of the sixth. An RBI double by Justin Huber nets BG a run in the bottom of the seventh. Vertex beats the Bird Gang, 14-5.

Game 3: Wu Tang Forever vs. Bird Gang

BG takes the early lead in the bottom of the first with three runs on singles. A double by Chris Hackney helps WTF score three runs in the top of the second. Singles help WTF put up two runs in the top of the fourth. Jason McLaughlin blasts a two run homer for BG in the bottom of the fourth. Kavit S smashes a two run homer for BG in the bottom of the fifth. Singles help WTF push three runs across in the top of the sixth. In the bottom of the sixth four runs come in for BG thanks to a double by Anthony C, and a Jason McLaughlin solo homer. Bird Gang gets by Wu Tang Forever, 13-10.

Game 4: Pigeon Boyz vs. Dirty Dozen

PB bats around in the top of the first to get seven runs with doubles by Adam Weltz and Brett Anker, and a KC Ingram solo homer. Brandon Birkhead smashes a solo homer for PB in the top of the second. Two runs come in for PB in the top of the third thanks to a Shane Hanna RBI double, and a KC Ingram triple. DD gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the third. Jeremy S jacks a two run homer for DD in the bottom of the fourth. PB bats around in the top of the sixth to plate four runs with a three run homer by Shane Hanna. The Pigeon Boyz beat up on Dirty Dozen, 18-3.

B South

Game 4: Vikings vs. Isotopes

The Vikings bat around in the top of the first to get six runs on singles, and a double by Corey Van Fossen. Drew Fiorante rips an RBI double for the Isotopes in the bottom of the first. Back to back doubles by David Ray and Ray Savage lead to four runs for the Isotopes in the bottom of the second. The Vikings bat around again in the top of the fifth to plate eight runs on singles, and two run doubles by Mike Michini, Joe Gladish, and Andrew Werkheiser. The Vikings add six runs in the top of the sixth with a two run triple by Andrew Werkheiser. The Vikings beat up on the Isotopes, 22-6.

Cedar Hill

Game 1: Web Gems vs. Birds of War

Anthony Izzi rips an RBI double for WG in the top of the first. BOW answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Tony Munoz smokes an RBI double for BOW in the bottom of the second. WG bats around in the top of the third to score THIRTEEN runs on singles, RBI doubles by Andrew Alexander and Anthony Izzi, and triples by Anthony Izzi and Arik Fenton. WG scores four runs in the top of the fourth on singles, and doubles by Anthony Izzi and Eric Wrenn. Singles net BOW three runs in the bottom of the fourth. WG pushes seven runs across in the top of fifth with a three run homer by Anthony Izzi. BOW rallies for five runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a Zach Schrum RBI triple, and a David Mauricio solo homer. The Web Gems out slug Birds of War, 29-12.

Game 2: Web Gems vs. Mud Dogs

WG stays red hot, scoring THIRTEEN runs in the top of the first on walks, singles, doubles by John Aiken and Arik Fenton, an RBI triple by Andrew Alexander, and an Anthony Izzi two run homer. A leadoff triple by Josh Figueroa leads to a run for MD in the bottom of the first. Anthony Izzi smashes a two run homer for WG in the top of the second. WG puts up TEN runs in the top of the third on walks, singles, a three run homer by Arik Fenton, and an Anthony Izzi grand slam. The Web Gems destroy the Mud Dogs, 25-1.

Game 3: Do Work vs. Mud Dogs

Walks and an RBI double by Luke Plummer lead to three runs for DW in the top of the first. MD gets on the board in the bottom of the second with seven runs thanks to a two run triple by Connor Simpson, and a Joe Bradley two run homer. Luke Plummer blasts a two run homer for DW in the top of the third. Jim Kullman launches a three run homer for MD in the bottom of the third. Doubles by Luke Plummer and Kevin O’Donnel net DW two runs in the top of the fourth. MD bats around in the bottom of the fourth to push nine runs across with run scoring doubles by David Rodriguez and Angel Rodriguez. Rob Worthington smashes a two run homer for DW in the top of the fifth. DW bats around in the top of the seventh to put up five runs on walks, and a three run triple by Nick Pigott. The Mud Dogs out slug Do Work, 22-16.

Game 4: The Naturals vs. Rolling Rock

Justin Mahmide blasts a three run homer for RR in the bottom of the first. RR puts up three runs in the bottom of the second with RBI doubles by Casey Condron and Harry Steglich, and a Collin Donohoe triple. TN gets two run on singles in the top of the third. TN bats around in the top of the fourth to score eight runs on singles, an RBI triple by Tom Finn, and a Partha Patel two run homer. Jay Cowan blasts a two run homer for RR in the bottom of the fifth. Rob Wardrop rips a two run double for TN in the top of the sixth. TN adds four runs in the top of the seventh thanks to back to back RBI doubles by Bryce Ross and Tim Macrone. The Naturals get by Rolling Rock, 19-15.
