Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Vertex

The Silverbacks take the early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Back to back doubles by Matt Schaub and Steve H net Vertex two runs in the bottom of the second. Pat Kelley jacks a two run homer for Vertex in the bottom of the fourth. Bill Brancato and Dan Croak rip doubles for Vertex as three runs cross the plate for Vertex in the bottom of the fifth. The Silverbacks plate two runs in the top of the sixth on singles. Vertex wins the first game, 7-4.

Game 2: Vertex vs. Silverbacks

Pat Kelley launches a two run homer for Vertex in the top of the first. Doubles by Mat Crowell, Chris B, and Bill Brancato lead to five runs for Vertex in the top of the third. Jamal Covington smokes an RBI triple for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the third. The Silverbacks score two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Vertex adds two runs in the top of the fifth with doubles by Pat Kelley and Matt Schaub. The Silverbacks rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with a leadoff triple by Phil B. Vertex wins the second game, 10-5, and the A division summer championship.

Game 1: Vikings vs. Web Gems

The Vikings put up three runs on singles in the top of the first. The Vikings put up four runs in the top of the third on singles, and an RBI double by Joe Gladish. WG gets on the board in the bottom of the fourth with two runs. Zach Walsh jacks a three run homer for the Vikings in the top of the sixth. Anthony Izzi blasts a two run homer for WG in the bottom of the sixth. The Vikings win the first game, 16-5.

Game 2: Web Gems vs. Vikings

WG gets a run in the top of the first. A run comes in for the Vikings with a Corey Van Fossen RBI double. WG plates another run in the top of the third. Craig Richards smashes a solo homer for the Vikings in the bottom of the fourth. WG puts up five runs in the top of the fifth thanks to a Kevin Carver RBI double. Jake Gladish blasts a three run homer for the Vikings in the bottom of the fifth. Walks and singles help WG put up three runs in the top of the sixth. The Web Gems take the second game, 12-5.

Game 3: Vikings vs. Web Gems

The Vikings score six runs in the top of the first on singles, and doubles by John Walsh and Zach Walsh. WG answers with three runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a two run double by Anthony Izzi. WG bats around in the bottom of the fourth to put up nine runs on singles, and doubles by John Aiken and Arik Fenton. Adam Weaver rips a two run double for the Vikings in the top of the sixth. We head to extra innings where Eric Adiletto rips a game winning RBI double for WG in the bottom of the eighth. The Web Gems walk it off to win game 3, 14-13, and the summer B South championship.
