Game #1 – Jive Turkeys vs. Flour Power

This game starts off real slow with only one run in the first three innings. That came on a single from Brian S, who then scores later on a Sam H RBI. Turkeys will then tack on six more runs in the fourth inning, after getting an RBI double from Nick A and two run bomb off the bat of Ricky H, Maggie W would also score on a Chris W double a couple of batters later. Flour Power would get on the board in the fourth and fifth with two runs in each. Nick would smash a two run bomb in the fourth while Dan and Justin hit an RBI double and triple respectfully. Turkeys get back to their scoring ways in the sixth, grabbing runs on an RBI single from Nick A, RBI double from Andrew F and RBI single from Bridget Birkhead. Flour would add a couple runs back, but it wouldn’t be enough in this one. Jive Turkeys win 10-7.

Game #2 – Wehrung’s vs. Quality Landscaping

Wehrung’s get it started with a five run first inning. Luke Hendricks got the party started with a three run bomb, which is followed up a couple of batters later by a bomb off the bat of Doug Moninghoff. Quality gets three of those runs back on a Phil two run bomb and Tommy H fielder’s choice. Wehrung’s grab three more runs in the third on RBI doubles from Steph Hines and Erik Senderling as well as a sac fly from Adam Hendricks. Quality answers again with a two run bomb from Patrick as they still trail by three. Wehrung’s really open up and take a big lead in the fourth, tacking on six more runs. Lowell Snyder had an RBI single while Wyatt Schilling smashes a two run bomb. They keep their hot hitting with four more runs in the fifth. Moninghoff had an RBI triple in the inning while Luke Hendricks had an RBI double. In the end, Wehrung’s offense was too much for Quality Landscaping. Wehrung’s win 18-6.

Game #3 – The Maize vs. Hattricks

Final game of the night gets started with a four run first inning from the Maize. Gary and Matt go back to back with two run doubles. Hattricks respond with four runs of their own. Erik Stalford smashed a two run bomb in the inning. Hattricks would get two more runs in the second on RBI singles from Eric Rosenblum and Stefano Giuliani to give them the lead. The Maize will go back on top in the third, after pushing across six runs. Aaron started the scoring with a two run double and that was followed up by three straight RBI doubles by Christian, Gary, and Matt. This was short lived as then Hattricks tie this up. Stalford and Zac Talmadge did the damage with two run homers in the inning. Fast forward to the fifth, when Maize will go up again getting two runs on a Christian sac fly and Gary RBI single. Hattricks again is up to the challenge getting one of those runs back in the fifth on a Rob Schuh RBI single. They will take the lead on a RBI double from Talmadge and Rosenblum fielder’s choice. Time would run out for Maize as they would fall in this one.
