Game #1 – Altek vs. Knuckleheads

Altek come out swinging hot bats in the first couple of innings. Tony Luizza scores two on a two run single, while Kevin Cwikla clears the bases with a double. Scott Flaghery would add a two run double in the second for Altek as well as they would score 12 in total. Knuckleheads also have a good first couple of innings. Jamie Burns smashes a three run bomb, while Corey Larwa nets two on a single and Jon Poore, Mike Koezler and John Schofield all have RBI hits in the inning. Altek increase their lead in the third on a RBI double from Adam Volpe and back to back RBI singles from Cwikla and Luizza. Knucleheads battle back in the next couple of innings. Poore was at it again with a two run bomb, while Koezler added a couple on a double. Chris Hackney gives them the lead with a two run homer in the sixth, but Altek would tie it in the seventh on a Volpe sac fly. John Kiefer wins it for Knuckleheads in walk off fashion smashing a game winning sac fly. Knuckleheads win 19-18.

Game #2 – Mott-Ley Crew vs. Muckdogs

Crew get rolling early with a Brady Rengel three run bomb right out of the gate. CJ Motts also added an RBI single in the inning. Muckdogs respond with a Jeff Hess RBI single and Jeff Kulp two run triple. Kim Hicks nets a run on a sac fly as we stand tied 4-4 after one inning of play. Crew will start to pull away in the third putting up four runs. Kevin Motts had an RBI double and Tom Finn had an RBI single. Crew will bat around in the fourth for 10 runs. Brady Rengel and Larissa Motts would both smash homers in the inning while Carl Motts nets two on a triple. Rengel adds his third homer in the game in the fifth as Crew will win this one easy. Crew wins 27-12

Game #3 – Wackers vs. Muckdogs

Wackers net four on RBI singles from Dan Vescovi and Dennsi D’Angelo as well as a Bill Brancato sac fly. Kulp tries to respond all on his own, grabbing two runs back on a single. Brancato gets back to it in the second, with a two run double. Muckdogs would take a brief lead in the third after a five run inning. Mike Z clears the bases with a three run single, while Jeff Kulp nets another run on a double. Wackers will take that lead back in the third getting two runs on a Bill Brancato two run homer and Lisa Tercha RBI triple. Wackers would bat around in the fifth, getting seven more runs. Jack D smashes a two run bomb while Brancato gets two more runs, this time on a triple. Brancato needs one more single to complete the cycle, as Wackers look to put this game away. Brancato won’t get another at bar to attempt the cycle, but the Wackers will walk away with the win. Wackers win 17-9.

Game #4 – Dugout Demons vs. Carroll’s

The last game of the night, really gets kicked off slow, with neither team scoring in the first three innings. Demons will net the first run with a Frank Staber RBI single. Greg Lesher will respond in the bottom of the inning with a two run bomb. Demons respond right away getting three more runs in the fifth inning. Tom Koezler gets the party started with a RBI double which then leads to a couple more runs. Shally would come up big in the seventh with a two run double as Demons rely on their gloves in this game. Demons win 9-2.
