Game #1 – Wackers vs. Knuckleheads

Wackers come out of the gates firing with a seven run first inning. Jarret Kerns starts it with a sac fly, followed by a two run double from John Erb and Rich S and RBI singles from Lissa Tercha and Jack M. Erb gets Wackers two more runs in the second with a two run triple. Knuckleheads continue to get shut down at the plate running into the fourth. Wackers continue to crush it at the plate though, with seven more runs in the fourth. Frank Fusca crushes a two run bomb while Alex Freeman adds two runs on a triple. Bill Brancato also adds a run on a triple while Erb collects his third extra base hit of the game to drive in another run. Wackers run away with this game and will end it early. Wackers win 17-2.

Game #2 – Knuckleheads vs. Wackers

Knuckleheads get five runs out of the gate in this one which is a great start compared to the prior game. Matt Bookheimer starts the scoring with an RBI single while Mike Koezler knocks in two on a single. Wackers get two runs back on RBI singles from Fusca and Brancato. Wackers will tie this one up in the second with three runs on a Jess F three run bomb. Wackers will take the lead in the fourth as they can start to taste the championship. Dennis D had a two run single while Jarret Kerns blasted a two run bomb. Fusca kept at it with a RBI triple. Wackers continue to keep stroking the ball with a couple more runs across the next couple innings. Alex Freeman smashed a solo bomb and Jeff F added another run on a single. Wackers will add another five to their total, with Erb highlighted them with a homer as we head to the seventh with Wackers winning 19-8. Mike Koezler starts the scoring for Knuckleheads with a two run bomb while Stpeh F also adds a run on a triple, but they just would not be able to get anything going in this one as their season will end. Wackers will take game two and hoist that Fall Championship trophy!
