Doc’s Irish Pub vs. Palz Tap House

Docs would take the home stand and allow one run off a walk in the top of the first. They would respond quickly, putting up a six run inning, highlighted by a three run home run from Dylan Brooks. Palz put up a six run inning of their own to keep this game tight, with help from a two run shot by Chris Crookham. This game would remain neck and neck going into the 6th inning tied at 11. No runs would be scored till the 8th where Tom Jacob would help Palz score 6 runs with a three run blast. Unfortunatly for Docs they would fall just short, scoring 5 runs in the 8th. Palz would take this game 17-16.


Dark Dogs vs. Wire2Wire

A quick 5 batter inning for Wire2Wire would provide DD with an opportunity to plate 7 runs captivated by a two run homer by John Hogan and a Grand-Slam by Mike Suda. DD would continue the slug fest in the 2nd scoring another 5 off good base hits and base running. W2W would gain some momentum in the top of the 3rd thanks to a three run HR from Alex Metz. Over the next two innings, W2W would throw another four runs onto the scoresheet but ultimately would fall flat to the Dark Dogs. Dark Dogs would plate five runs in the 4th with help from a grand slam by John Hogan to secure the victory. Dark Dogs win 20-11


Purple Cobras vs. One Hit Wonders

The highest scoring game of the day would start off with a five run first inning for the OHW thanks to singles and walks from the top of their lineup. With two men on base , Mike Trivino would go yard to net three. Purple Cobras would come out on the attack in the bottom of the first , with a lead off double by Brandon Roman , a single by Dan Roman and a two run Blast by Ty Allen. The runs would keep flowing for the OHW in the 2nd inning, thanks to a three run shot from Dan Cripps and a two run shot from Andy Springer. This back and forth slugfest would continue as we would see the Purple Cobras score eleven! Getting completely through their lineup, we would see a homer by Dan Roman and two triples from Eric Tidwell. OHW would continue to keep the bats hot , thanks to another homer from Andy Springer and a triple from Jimmy Cooker. Purple Cobras score five in the 4th inning to keep this game tied up at 19. Bats ended up running dry for the OHW as they would not score another run in the game. Purple Cobras end up taking the game 24-19.
