Opening Day Spring 2023



Grim Rippers vs. Dave and Confused

Grim started this game off with two runs in the first inning, taking advantage of a string of singles and plating two. Dave responded with five after a leadoff homerun by John Dine and a double by Kevin Noone and a triple by Jake Pederzani. Dave would add two in the second on singles and an RBI double by Kevin Noone. Dave and Confused would plate runs in every inning with four in the third, five in the fourth, and three in the five. They would do this with singles, a double by John Fine, triple by Dave Graves, and a homerun by John Fine. Dave and Confused win 19-3.

Hattricks vs. Sprouse Electric

Both teams got one in the first with Sprouse doing so after a leadoff double by Sean Cook. Hattricks would unload in the second scoring seven runs on errors and a homerun by Josh Graef. Sprouse would start to come back with four runs in the third and three in the third after back to back doubles by Kevin Walker and Jared Kratz. Hattricks would get four more runs in the game and take a 12-8 lead into the bottom of the seventh. Sprouse would get very picky at the plate and take four walks before a double by Donny Younger and a walk off RBI single by Neiko Conti. Sprouse electric wins 13-12.









Hitmen vs. Depaul Brothers

Hitmen get on the board first with the runs after a walk and back to back doubles by Nick Long and Pat Felicani. Depaul gets a run on a solo homerun by Rich Houser. Depaul ties it in the second. Hitmen add three runs in the third after a three run homerun by Dennis D’Angelo. DePaul would plate two in the inning. The fifth inning was productive for both teams with Hitmen scoring six runs on singles and a three run homerun by Nick Lang. Depaul plates four with singles and doubles by Bill Schubert and Rich Houser. This game was like the one before it and would come down to the seventh inning. Depaul trailing by three would get a leadoff walk and then a string of singles to plate three. They would go onto score two more runs with a double by Ben Sander and a triple by Chris Rommel. Hitmen would come out in the bottom of the seventh trailing by two. They would get a leadoff homerun by Sean Pena. They would also get a double by Mike Jaurigue but come up short. Depaul Brothers wins 13-12.

Naturals vs. Bogey Boys



Naturals got the party started with eleven runs in the first inning taking advantage of walks, singles, and a double by Rob Wardorp. Bogey would get three after a two run homerun by John Prociopio and a double by Pat Smith. Naturals kept rolling with three runs in the second. Bogey begins to chip away with five runs in the third again taking advantage of the singles and a double by Brian O’Donall and a triple by Pat Smith. Naturals get one in the fourth. Bogey would not go away however and got eight runs in the fifth. They did so with walks and doubles by Jogn Bisceqlie, Brian O’Donall, Eric Kratz and a triple by John Prociopio. This game would only go six innings with the Naturals getting three more runs in the inning and regaining the lead. They did so with back to back to back doubles by Andrew Mascantonio, Ryan Hamilton, and Mike Ercolino. Bigey however would not allow the comeback to fall short and they would plate three runs in the inning as well and walk it off. They did so with walks and a double by John Prociopio. Bogey Boys win 19-18.
