Game #1 – Quality Landscapes vs. Wackers

Wackers will get going early and often in this one. Bill Brancato continues his power onslaught and smashes a three run bomb while Frank Fusca adds another run on an RBI double. Alex Freeman will net another run for Wackers in the second with an RBI triple. Another inning, more runs for Wackers as they grab another five. Phil Lipton had an RBI single, followed by a two run double from Brancato. Nonny also added a run on a sac fly. No highlights for Quality in this one as they will struggle big time at the plate. Wackers will end this game early as they get to 15 fast and end this game. Wackers win 15-0.

Game #2 – Poco’s vs. Quality Landscape

Poco’s get rolling in the first with four runs on an Eric Schade two run triple, Kyle Rizzi RBI double and Brielle Eve fielder’s choice. They will get righ back to it in the second inning with a bases clearing triple from Jeff Kulp. Quality continues to struggle on the day and really cannot create any offense in this one. Poco’s will grab four more runs across the third and fourth inning, before setting up a big fifth inning again. Kulp will go yard this time, a grand slam, which is followed up by a solo bomb from Schade as Poco’s win easy. Poco’s win 20-3.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Demons come out swinging the bats hot with a five run first inning. Bill Shallcross starts the scoring with an RBI single along with a Ben Razzi RBI single. Michael Cebzanov rounds out the inning with a two run double. Eddie’s respond in a massive way with a 13 run bottom of the 1st inning. Russ Laughlin smashes a three run bomb, followed by a two run single from Mike Downey and RBI singles from Tony Oliver and Mike Marnoch. Laughlin would round out the inning with a three run triple later in the inning. Demons will fight back with 7 runs across the second and third innings. Anthony Crawford crushes a two run bomb while Cebzanov knocks in a run on a bases clearing walk. The scoring will go cold until the fifth when Eddies get four more runs on back to back two run doubles from Oliver and Brian Dart. Demons grab some late runs, but will fall short in this one. Eddies win 17-15.

Game #4 – The Maize vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Crew will jump out to an early 6-0 lead across the first three innings. Carl Motts and Tom Finn have RBI doubles in the first inning, while a Carl Motts RBI single and Tom Finn RBI double pace the scoring in the third inning. Maize will strike for the first time in the fourth inning. Christian Hazlett grabs a run on an RBI single, with Keith Bellinger also knocking in a run later in the inning on an RBI single. Crew will increase their lead up to 11-4 in the fifth after a two run triple from Dan Geiger. Maize will respond with five runs of their own from RBI doubles from Gary Kleinschmidt and Aaron Worthington making this a 11-9 game. Crew will increase their lead with five more runs on RBI singles from Jon Motts, Alex Lilly, Carl Motts and Finn. Maize won’t go down easy in the seventh grabbing four runs, two on a Worthington two run triple, but it won’t be enough. Crew win 16-13.
