Philly’s Phinest V Holding Hands with Hookers

PP started the game off strong plating three of their first four hitters. The bats went cold for a few innings until Mike Rocks Jr blasted a homer in the fifth to give his team a spark. Holding hands also had a semi slow start, as this one was 6-4 Philly’s thru 4. Both team broke out the lumber in the last few innings to make it interesting. The teams would combine for 19 runs over the last three innings, with Philly’s Phinest holding off the handsy hookers, 16-13.

Bomb squad V Philly’s Phinest

Second game of a doubleheader for Philly’s Phinest and they could not seem to muster up the same first game magic. Scattered singles and only two extra base hits all game only land them with 4 runs total in this affair. Bomb squad hit early and often paced by Bill Brancato going 4/4 and Ant Crawford launching a long ball. Bomb squad takes this one easily, 14-4.

Swingers V Bomb Squad

Dale Hoover tried to spark Swingers early with a Leadoff single then going first to home on a single by matt Bachmann. Unfortunately that would end up being half of their offensive output as Swingers could only muster up one run the rest of the game. Bomb Squad kept their hot bats rolling batting around in the first inning and plating 6. Ant Crawford would blast another homer as Bomb Squad would cruise to another victory, 16-2.

Web gems V Balls deep

A scoreless affair thru 4, Web Gems strikes first in the fifth inning in part to a 2 run Eric Adiletto double. Another two run double by Kevin Carver in the sixth would help them extend their lead to 9-0 going into the top of 7. Balls Deep finally woke up and made a valiant rally, plating 6 runs but coming up just short. Web Gems holds them off, 9-6.

Wild Fire v Pitch, Please

On his way to a gaudy 6/6 day at the plate, Mike Orevitz leads the game off with a triple. They’d bat around and then some, with Mike adding a single in the same inning to plate 7 for Pitch Please. Hector Torres matched the lead off energy to start, getting things going for Wild Fire with his own Leadoff triple. It was a back and forth battle thru 3, with pitch please leading 13-10. Then the floodgates opened up. Pitch please sends 20!! Batters to the plate in the fourth highlighted by back to back to back homers by Mike Orevitz, Adam Schlang, and Joe Kindt. The wild fire was put out after that offensive outburst and Pitch Please crushes to a 31-10 victory.
