Game #1 – Eddies in the Outfield vs. Wackers

Wackers strike first with an RBI single from Bill Brancato and fielder’s choice from Frank Fusca taking a 2-0 lead. Eddies strike back in the third getting two runs on a two run homer from Mike Downey. Wackers will take a big lead in the fourth grabbing eight runs total. Brancato and Jack Demoth have RBI singles while Fusca has a two run single. Dan Vescovi also adds a run on an RBI double. Wackers will keep the pedal to the floor in the next inning grabbing five more runs. Nonny smashes a two run bomb, while Tess Frelick nets a run on a solo shot of her own. Eddies are outmatched in this one and will fall. Wackers win 15-5.

Game #2 – Poco’s vs. Eddies in the Outfield

Eddie’s start off game two looking for better results than their first game and grab two runs on a Shawn Ortman two run double. Poco’s will double that up in the bottom of the inning grabbing four runs. Jeff Kulp will smash a three run bomb followed by a solo bomb from Kyle Rizzi. Poco’s have another big inning in the second, with another three run bomb from Jeff Kulp. Eric Shade also knocks in a run on an RBI single. Eddie’s will start their comeback in the fifth getting back to back homers from Brian Dart and Brian Sauers netting four total runs. Poco’s quickly come back with three more runs of their own. Schade smashes a solo bomb while Jeff Hess brings in two runs on a two run triple. Eddie’s grab two runs in the seventh, with another Dart bomb, but they will fall short in this one as well. Poco’s win 13-10.

Game #3 – Altek vs. Poco’s

Poco’s continue the homer’s onslaught with a three run bomb from Kyle Rizzi. Altek take the lead in the bottom of the inning grabbing four runs. Adam Volpe had a three run bomb in the inning. Poco’s take the lead right back with a three run bomb from Tony Cabot. We stand still at 7 after three innings after an Altek homer from Scott Flaherty. Poco’s grab the lead with a three run fourth. Will Marsden came up short of a homer and knocked in a run on a sac fly, while Justin Kabana brought in a run on a single. Altek brings the game to within one with two homers from Chris Lento and Chad Solomon sending us to the seventh inning. That is where it would stand as Altek go down in order. Poco’s win 11-10.
