Game 1: Monsters & Menthols vs. Hagan’s Heroes

MAM bat around in the top of the first to score eight runs thanks to doubles by Nonny and Brian Dart, and triples by Jim Lalley and Carmen Brancato. An RBI triple by Wayne Horger Jr helps net HH four runs in the bottom of the first. Bill Brancato smokes an RBI triple for MAM in the top of the third. HH adds four runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and a two run homer by Wayne Horger, Jr. Singles lead to three runs for HH in the bottom of the fourth. MAM bats around in the top of the fifth to get five runs on singles, and a double by Bill Brancato. HH rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Monsters & Menthols takes the first game, 17-12.

Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Monsters & Menthols

HH plates a run in the top of the first. MAM bats around in the bottom of the first to plate four runs with a two run triple by Brian Dart. Walks and errors help HH put up four runs in the top of the second. Bill Brancato rips a two run double for MAM in the bottom of the second. Ryan Goodman smashes a solo homer for HH in the top of the third. Nonny jacks a solo homer for MAM in the bottom of the fourth. Jason McLaughlin rips an RBI double for HH in the top of the sixth. Ryan Goodman blasts another solo homer for HH in the top of the seventh. MAM rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh as Nonny launches a two run homer. Hagan’s Heroes escapes with the game 2 win, 12-11.

Game 3: Monsters & Menthols vs. Hagan’s Heroes

Singles give MAM an early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Ryan Goodman smokes an RBI triple for HH in the bottom of the first. MAM bats around in the top of the third to plate nine runs on singles, and a Brian Dart RBI double. Three runs cross the plate for HH in the bottom of the third thanks to an RBI double by Keith Keppley, and a Jay Pane RBI triple. MAM bats around in the top of the fifth to put up four runs on singles. Chase Luxton blasts a two run triple for HH in the bottom of the fifth. MAM adds three runs in the top of the seventh thanks to doubles by Nonny and Brian Dart. HH rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh as Chase Luxton and Ryan Goodman knock back to back homers. Monsters & Menthols win game 3, 21-12, and the spring title. Congrats!
