The W Tavern vs. One Hit Wonders

Jesse Grasso would start things off for OHW with a lead off homer in the top of the first. The W Tavern looking to answer would score two thanks to four strait singles. Jimmy Cooker would score in the top of the second for OHW, tying it up at two apiece. The third inning was quiet for both teams but OHW would plate two in the fourth off singles. Down by two Kenny Fretz would launch a two run HR to tie it back up. OHW would be silent the rest of the game. The W Taverns, Matt Landrow hit a lead off triple in the sixth and scored off a sac fly. W Tavern takes the W 6-4.


Wire2Wire vs. One Hit Wonders

OHW bated first again. Coming out strong they would score five off singles and walks. W2W put one up in the bottom of the first to decrease the lead a little. A silent second inning for OHW would allow W2W to plate seven thanks to a few walks and a three run blast from Jacob McDevitt. Two quick silent innings for both teams would come to an end where OHWs Jesse Grasso would hit a triple and eventually score. In retaliation, W2W would score four off of singles and walks. OHW bats would be silent the rest of the game where W2W would plate an additional eight in the bottom of the sixth. W2W 20 , OHW 6.


Docs Irish Pub vs. Purple Cobras

Top of the first we would see PC bat nine out of their ten players to score five runs. Looking to respond, Docs would score five of their own, helped by a grand slam from Dylan Brooks. Eric Tidwell would launch a three run homer for PC in route to score 5 in the top of the second. It would be a pretty silent middle of the game as the next score would come in the fifth inning for Docs. PC would answer fast with a single run of their own, set up by a Brandon Roman triple. Purple Cobras would hang on and win this one 11-7

Palz vs. Dark Dogs

Dark Dogs came out firing scoring thirteen in the top of the first inning, highlighted by b2b homers by lead off hitters John Hogan and Paul Ferruzzi Jr. Palz would answer with two runs to decrease the lead to eleven. DD only put up one run in the second compared to Palz two to keep a 14-4 lead. DD kept the sticks moving scoring another four runs in the third. Palz would answer back with three runs of their own, but ultimately it wouldn’t be enough as Dark Dogs would run away with this game 19-8
