Wire2Wire vs. Purple Cobras

PC would get four men on base and score three to start the game off. W2W would answer fast putting four up off singles and walks. W2W put up an additional three in the second highlighted by a Ben Vitelli triple. Down by four, PC would score seven off singles. W2W would end up scoring nine runs over the next two innings thanks to homers by Gene Walczak and doubles by Tom Signore. Top of the seventh and down by seven, PC would end up falling short, only scoring three. W2W wins 17-13.


Purple Cobras vs Crum Bum

With their bats already warmed up from their first game PC came out on fire. Batting completely through their lineup they would score seven thanks to a Corey Lawra HR. PC would keep the bats rolling with five runs scored in the second and ten runs in the third. Stellar defense would keep the Crum Bums scoreless till the fourth where they would put up two lone runs. Overall PC had five players reach base three times while having seven players score twice. Purple Cobras win in four 22-2.


Docs Irish Pub vs. One Hit Wonders Game 1

Each team would score one in the first. OHW would score five in the second, with help from a triple by Jesse Grasso. Down by six, in the bottom of the fifth, Docs would push three runs in off walks. OHW would increase the lead by one in the top of the sixth with a Jack Stepnowski solo homer. OHW would win first game 9-5.


One Hit Wonders vs. Docs Irish Pub Game 2

A scoreless first two innings for Docs would allow OHW to put up a nine run lead off singles. Docs would minimize the lead to three after putting up a combined six runs In the next two innings. After allowing Docs to score one lone run in the fifth, OHW would score three off singles from the bottom of their lineup. Docs would make a valiant push scoring four in the sixth but would unfortunately fall flat. OHW 13-11.
