A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Doom Cats

DC puts up eight runs in the bottom of the third with two run doubles by Tom Koelzer and Jason Pane. The Silverbacks get on the board with two runs in the top of the fourth thanks to a double by Ian Cuozzo. The Silverbacks add two runs in the top of the fifth. Rob McKenna rips an RBI double for the Silverbacks in the top of the sixth. Brendan McCoy blasts a solo homer for DC in the bottom of the sixth. The Silverbacks plate five runs in the top of the seventh with doubles by Carlos Gonzalez, Jamal Covinton, and JJ Wunderlich. DC walks it off in the bottom of the seventh with a run as Wayne H gets the game winning hit. The Doom Cats beat the Silverbacks in dramatic fashion, 11-10.

Game 2: Ball Busters vs. Vertex

BB gets four runs in the top of the first thanks to triples by Tyler Cohen and Justin Knapp. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the first to score seven runs on singles, and a CJ Snyder RBI double. Jay Stein smokes a two run triple for BB in the top of the second. Vertex picks up three runs in the bottom of the third. Jay Stein launches a three run homer for BB in the top of the fifth. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the sixth to push six runs across on singles, a two run double by Sean Nonemacher, and a Justin Miller two run triple. BB rallies for two runs in the top of the seventh with an RBI double by Justin Knapp. BB picks up three runs in the top of the eighth thanks to an Andrew Parker RBI double. The Ball Busters out slug Vertex in extra innings, 20-18.

Game 3: Ball Busters vs. Philly Junk

BB takes an early lead with two runs in the top of the first. PJ answers with two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a Shane Hanna RBI double, and a triple by Tom Ivers. Singles lead to three runs for BB in the top of the third. Brandon Birkhead and Jeremy Villano both smash two run homers for PJ in the bottom of the fourth. Tom Rider rips an RBI double for PJ in the bottom of the fifth. Philly Junk tops Ball Busters, 9-5.

Game 4: Dirty Dozen vs. Bird Gang

DD gets a run in the top of the first. Nick jacks a solo homer for DD in the top of the second. BG bats around in the bottom of the third to score TEN runs on singles, and a grand slam by Colton Hooker. Bird Gang beats Dirty Dozen, 10-3, in a rain shortened game.

B South

Lukens I

Game 1: Dead Ringers vs. Vikings

The Vikings take an early lead with a run in the bottom of the first. Back to back doubles by Randy Brymer and Harrison Leal net DR two runs in the top of the second. Back to back double by Randy Brymer and Harrison Leal help DR plate three runs in the top of the fourth. Matthew Lewis blasts a three run homer for DR in the top of the sixth. A double by Mike Michini helps the Vikings add a run in the bottom of the sixth. The Vikings rally for six runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a two run double by Zach Walsh and the game winning hit by John Walsh. The Vikings beat Dead Ringers in dramatic fashion, 11-10.

Game 2: Do Work vs. Dead Ringers

DW scores five runs in the top of the first thanks to a Tim Groves RBI double, and a two run triple by Derek Strowhouer. DW adds four runs in the top of the fourth on singles. Derek Muhl smashes an RBI triple for DW in the top of the fifth. DR gets on the board in the bottom of the fifth thanks to singles. Walks lead to six runs for DW in the top of the sixth. DR puts up three runs in the bottom of the sixth on singles, and a double by Justin Lungo. Do Work beats up on Dead Ringers, 20-6.

Game 3: Rolling Rocks vs. Isotopes

RR puts up four runs in the top of the first on a Harry Steglich RBI double, and a two run triple by Chris Hoisington. The Isotopes answer with a run in the bottom of the first. RR gets four runs in the top of the third on singles. Singles lead to five runs for the Isotopes in the bottom of the third. RR bats around in the top of the fourth to plate nine runs on errors, walks, and a Harry Steglich RBI triple. The Isotopes bat around in the bottom of the fourth to pick up five runs on singles. Vick Pagan jacks a two run homer for the Isotopes in the bottom of the sixth. RR bats around again in the top of the seventh with a Harry Steglich solo homer. Rolling Rocks out slug the Isotopes, 25-13.

Hatfield

Game 1: Bats All Folks vs. Palmetto Street

BAF puts up six runs in the top of the first on walks and singles. BAF adds a run in the top of the second. PS scores five runs in the bottom of the second on singles, and a Frankie Perrone RBI double. A leadoff double by Mike Bowes nets PS a run in the bottom of the third. PS gets three runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a Shawn Smith RBI double, and a Zac Piccorello RBI triple. Qua L smokes a two run double for PS in the bottom of the sixth. BAF rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh on walks and singles. Palmetto Street squeaks by Bats All Folks, 12-10.
