Crum Bum vs. One Hit Wonders

OHW would start off strong, batting completely around their lineup and scoring 8 to the tune of eight singles and two doubles. Crum Bums would be able to respond with three runs thanks to a two rbi triple from Nick Delany. The rest of the game would be all OHW, as they would hold the Crum Bums scoreless while also scoring fourteen. Eight of ten players on the one hit wonders would score 2+ times. OHW would make quick work of the Crum Bums and win 22-3 in 5 innings.


Purple Cobras vs. Docs Irish Pub

Docs plated nine in the first inning! They would bat through their lineup one and a half times, and achieve seven singles and two doubles. Purple Cobras would respond slow with a three and out inning. Up by nine Docs would step off the gas for a few innings. That would not be the case for PC, the bottom of the second inning would start with back to back homeruns from Nate Roman and Mike Corrigan. PC would plate six runs through the first three innings to Docs nine. Docs would score three in the fourth thanks to a three run blast by Austin Kooker. PC would put up one lone run in the fourth but then proceed to score four in the fifth to drop Docs lead to 12-11. A double by Dylan Brooks and a sac fly by Joe Stankovics would help Docs increase their lead to three. With the game on the line in the bottom of the sixth Purple Cobras would rally on. The would score five, highlighted by a two out rbi double by Jose Villa. Docs down for the first time in the game would have one inning to make up two runs, alas they would only be able to plate one off a sac fly. Purple Cobras would win this nail biter 16-15.
