Game #1 – Hattricks vs. Altek

Hattricks get rolling with an Erik Stalford two run double. Shawn Arbogast then nets a run on a double of his own giving them a 3-0 lead. Altek gets one run back on a hit from Chris Lento. Both teams put up a gooseegg in the second before Hattricks get back to scoring in the third, with a sac fly from Ed Reynolds. Hattricks will grab three more in the fourth with back to back RBI singles from Stephanie Green and Eric Rosenblum as they lead 8-1. Altek mount their comeback in the fourth with a big sac from Kevin Cwikla, RBI single from Buddy Schwartz and RBI double from Bob Wenner. Lilly Cross and Ciarra Clements knocks in two with back to back singles. Altek grab the lead in the sixth with a six run sixth highlighted by a bases clearing double from Ciarra Clements. Hattricks then storm back with a big inning of their own in the seventh, with five in the inning. Reynolds had a two run triple while Stalford and Arbogast had RBI singles. Here comes Altek again, grabbing three more runs. Cwikla and Scott Flaherty have RBI doubles and Buddy Schawrtz walks this one off with an RBI single.

Game #2 – Altek vs. Carroll’s

Game Two gets underway with a two run lead for Carroll’s. Mike Stacey had a two run triple in the inning. Altek grabs one run on an RBI single from Lily, but then the bats will go quiet. Carroll’s go quiet as well, but come alive in the third. Lauren Klepchick starts the scoring with an RBI single followed by a Steve DiGiovanni sac fly. Carroll’s put up a big inning with a seven run fifth. Stacey was back at it again with a two run single, followed by a Bob McClintock two run double. DiGiovannia also nets a run on a single. Carroll’s will shut Altek down in this one and win easy. Carroll’s win 13-2.

Game #3 – Wackers vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Wackers will open this game up with a run on an RBI single from Bill Brancato. Wackers will grab two more in the second on a sac fly from Tess Frelick and fielder’s choice from Mandi Sheehan. Wackers will bump that lead up to 8-0 after a five run inning in the third. Shane Hanna Banana gets into the action with an RBI single in his debut. That is followed up by an Alex Freeman RBI double, Bill Shallcross RBI single and Lissa Tercha RBI triple. Crew will finally get on the board in the bottom of the third, with an Anthony Rapposselli RBI single and three run bomb from Brady Mengal. Wackers continue to add every inning as the Hanna Banana continues to impress in his debut. Crew will have one more inning in them, grabbing three runs in the sixth on a Mengal RBI double and Kaelyn Motts RBI single, but this game was all Wackers. Wackers win 16-7.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Eddies in the Outfield


Knuckleheads grab an early 1-0 lead on a Jon Poore RBI single. Eddies come out of the box hot with eight runs across the first two innings. Mike Downey knocked in a run on a sac fly and Dylan Gallagher smashed a three run bomb. Dawn Bieber also added two runs on a two run single in the second inning. Knuckleheads will grab four runs back in the third on a Ben Razzi RBI single and Mike Koezler two run double as they trail 9-5. Knuckleheads can only add one more run and struggle at the plate in this one. Shawn Ortman hits a late two run single, while Lee Anderson and Mark Smith smash RBI singles as they cruise in this one. Eddies win 14-6.
