Game #1 – Poco’s vs. Jive Turkeys

Poco’s get rolling with back to back RBI walks from Corey Colby and Brielle Eve followed by a fielding’s choice by Will Marsden. Jive Turkeys get five back in the bottom of the inning, getting an RBI double from Andrew Fantasky and RBI single from Maggie Wunder. Pat Gallagher smashes a two run homer to round out the scoring in the inning. Poco’s tie it up in the second, getting a run on a fielder’s choice from Tony Cabet. Turkey’s take the lead again in the second with a two run blast from Casper Komonstak. Some still are looking for him on Thursdays. Poco’s again fight back and tie this game up getting two runs on a Michelle Egitto hit and Tom Egitto RBI single. Turkey’s will get hot and add seven runs across the fourth and fifth innings. Fantasky nets a run on an RBI double, Brian Stella grabs a run on an RBI single and Anthony Stella grabs a run on an RBI single. Casper goes yard again with another two run shot as they hold a 14-7 lead. Bill Hamill grabs two runs in the top of the sixth for Poco’s as they look to fight back in this one. Jeff Hess adds a late RBI single for Poco’s, but it only be enough as they will fall to Turkey’s. Turkey’s win 15-11.

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Hattricks


Gary Kleinschmidt gets this game started with a two run bomb giving them an early lead. Will Dos will add two more runs for Maize in the third on a two run double as Hattricks will struggle early, putting up no runs across the first three innings. Tom Egitto will add one more run on an RBI single before Hattricks will finally get on the board. Hattricks will strike for three runs in the bottom of the fourth on a Janice Tansits RBI single and two run single from Shawn Arbogast. Maize would tidy things up and put it away in the sixth and seventh innings as they saved their best for last. They dropped a total of nine runs across the two innings. Kleinschmidt went deep again, with another two run bomb while Will Dos added two on a two run bomb of his own. Sam Altmiller also added two runs as Maize close this out. Maize wins 14-4.

Game #3 – Eddies in the Outfield vs. Wehrung’s

Wehrung’s will fall in this one as they can’t field a team. Eddie’s get the free win and an early trip to the bar.
