Game 1: Reap What You Sow vs. Man Bear Pigs

Brandon Birkhead rips a two run double for RWYS in the top of the first. Amand Clark smokes a two run double for RWYS in the top of the third. MBP gets on the board in the bottom of the third with five runs on singles, and a Katie Cherba two run double. RWYS picks up TEN runs in the top of the fifth thanks to singles, doubles by Kyle Rizzi, Tyler Gower, and Roe Lombardo, and a Brandon Birkhead three run homer. Joey Ferrell jacks a solo homer for MBP in the bottom of the fifth. A leadoff triple by Dave Gordon nets RWYS a run in the top of the sixth. Brandon Birkhead blasts a two run homer for RWYS in the top of the seventh. Reap What You Sow beats up on Man Bear Pigs, 19-6.

Game 2: Boomsticks vs. Monsters & Menthols

MAM puts up seven runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Alex Freeman, Bill Brancato, Brandon Roman, and Adam Lightkep. MAM adds three runs in the bottom of the second. A leadoff triple by Adam Lightkep nets MAM a run in the bottom of the third. Roc Akers smashes a two run homer for MAM in the bottom of the fourth. MAM ends this one quickly in the bottom of the fifth on a two run homer by Adam Lightkep. Monsters & Menthols shuts out the Boomsticks, 15-0.

Game 3: Lady Birds vs. Hagan’s Heroes

LB takes the early lead in the top of the first with three runs on doubles by Justin Huber and Chucky Vile, and a Joey Pittman triple. HH answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on a two run double by Gary Thompson. Singles help LB pick up three runs in the top of the second. Singles and a Wayne Horger, Jr double lead to three runs for HH in the bottom of the third. HH picks up four runs in the bottom of the fourth with a Keith Keppley double, and an RBI triple by Jay Muir. A leadoff triple by Gary Thompson helps HH push two runs across in the bottom of the fifth. LB plates two more runs in the top of the sixth. LB rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a double by Chucky Vile, and a James McLaughlin triple. HH walks it off in the bottom of the seventh with a Kenny Goodwin RBI single. Hagan’s Heroes beats the Lady Birds in dramatic fashion, 14-13.

Game 4: No Shows vs. Lady Birds

NS puts up four runs in the top of the first with a triple by Adam Allman, and a Derek Strowhouer two run homer. LB answers with three runs in the bottom of the first on errors and a triple by James McLaughlin. LB plates five runs in the bottom of the third thanks to back to back to back RBI doubles by James McLaughlin, Joey Pittman, and Chucky Vile. Two runs come in for NS in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Glenn Strattis and Kris Karaba. NS adds two runs in the top of the sixth on singles. Jason McLaughlin rips a tow run homer for LB in the bottom of the sixth. The Lady Birds top No Shows, 13-9.
