Game #1 – Hatrricks vs. Mott-Ley Crew

Rob Schuh gets this night rolling with an RBI single to give Hattricks the early lead. They will double their lead in the second on a fielder’s choice by Emily Kline. Crew will get into the game and tie this game up with a Jon Motts RBI double and Brady Mengel sac fly. Hattricks jump back on top grabbing two runs on a Schuh two run single. But yet again, here come Crew getting a Jon Motts RBI double and Mengel sac fly. A Janice Tansits fielder’s choice gives Hattricks the lead again. Crew will get a Mengel two run bomb in the fifth. Hattricks this time will tie the game up, getting a run on a Stefanie Green RBI single. Hattricks will grab the lead in the seventh on RBI singles from Joe Perry, Ed Reynolds and Schuh. Crew come back to tie again in the bottom of the inning with a Mengel RBI triple and Ian Kacergis RBI double. We head to extra’s where each team will grab a run and this game will end in a tie.

Game #2 – Blue Devils vs. Eddies

The second game of the night is going to be a big headache for the Blue Devils as they will struggle mightily in this one. We get started with Eddies grabbing five runs in the first inning. Brian Dart grabs two runs on a triple, followed by a sac fly from Maddie Bieber and RBI single from Vito Negro. Negro was back at it again in the third, with an RBI single, followed by a Mark Smith two run single. Eddies will finish this game off with a seven run fourth inning. Mike Downey and Dart have back to back homers while Lee Anderson knocks in a run on a double. Eddies win 16-0.

Player of the Game:

Game #3 – Wehrung’s vs. The Runs

All the runs from Eddies was sure to give the next game some inspiration and we get started with a Wehrung’s RBI double from Bobby S. Doug M then nets another run for Wehrung’s on a sac fly. Lowell Snyder then nets another run on a double. Runs will finally get on the board in the fourth. Kyle Exner grabs them two runs on a single, while Nick P nets them one more on an RBI single. Wehrung’s will hold a one run lead on a Snyder RBI single and that is how this game would end as this is a low scoring affair. Wehrung’s win 5-4.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Wackers

The last game of the night gets rolling with a Jon Poore sac fly and Rich Z RBI single. Wackers would respond back in the bottom of the inning with an RBI triple and then Jay Pane RBI double. Knuckleheads jump back on top with a five run second inning. Matt Bookheimer had an RBI single and then Jose Rodriguez had a two run single. Wackers will respond back in the bottom of the inning to pull within one run. Kerns and Brancato have back to back RBI singles, while Emily P has a two run single. Both teams are shut down in the third, before Knuckleheads get back to the scoring in the fourth. Poore nets two on a double, while Kiefer nets two on a single. Wackers get on top in the bottom of the inning with eight runs. Freeman, replacing Nonny at the top of the order, clears the bases with a triple while, Brancato and Vescovi both hit RBI singles. Wackers will get some insurance runs with a Brancato RBI double and Vescovi two run double. Wackers will lock it down defensively and win this one. Wackers win 17-13.
